The folks behind SnowRunner and SpaceMarine II, Saber Interactive, have announced a new game coming this May which is solidly in the management and construction genres. RoadCraft puts you at the helm of a company specialized in restoring sites devastated by natural disasters, using construction equipment to pave roads and ultimately rebuild the industry that has been taken out by storms.

If you aren't familiar with SnowRunner, or the prior MudRunner games, they were known for their incredible realism when it comes to trekking through rough terrain, with the terrain being simulated at levels simply unseen in other games. This meant you needed to focus on your vehicles and become one with the vehicle to make it through obstacles as you traverse the map. Similarly, RoadCraft is promising a "new generation of simulation" with realistic physics that apply to seemingly everything which will likely add a fun level of difficulty to the simulation.
Quote From Saber Interactive Handle each object with realistic physics, accounting for their mass and size. Interact with elements like sand, wood, and asphalt. Reshape the terrain and ease the movement of your vehicles thanks to your newly-built roads.
There will be over 40 vehicles to play with, each allowing some customization, such as slapping your company's logo on them or spraying them a new color, and all of these vehicles will be unlocked over time as you progress through a story-driven campaign.

What else does RoadCraft promise?
- Resources
- Deploy resource convoys to produce new reconstruction materials.
- Recycle the debris you pickup into new materials.
- Vehicles
- Plot routes to efficiently move your vehicles and logistics around.
- Every vehicle has its own behaviour to get each job done.
- Over 40 vehicles will be available to play with.
- 8 Maps, each 4 km², which present their own unique challenges.
- Co-op gameplay for up to 4 players. Everyone can help rebuild!

To say I'm intrigued by this game would be an understatement. Plenty of simulation aspects within the game, construction theme, and various settings to be challenged by all sound like a lot of fun. We're only a few months away from the release of RoadCraft, so luckily we don't have too much longer to wait.
RoadCraft releases on May 20, 2025 and is available on Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, and PlayStation.
