We're getting a new game to the Nintendo Switch Online service, and it's Ridge Racer 64. Ridge Racer is a series that is very heavily related to arcades and PlayStation, especially in its heyday, so you might be surprised to learn that there even is a Nintendo 64 game for Ridge Racer, but it's true. Released in-between Ridge Racer Type 4 and Ridge Racer V was Ridge Racer 64, which later saw a release on the Nintendo DS in 2004, but the version being put onto Switch online is the Nintendo 64 version.
Ridge Racer 64 is much more in-line with the first two games, featuring all of the tracks from both games as well as its own original tracks that have never been added to any other game in the franchise. Compared to the games on the original PlayStation, it has slightly better graphics, and is a much rarer and overlooked part of the series.
