BlizzCon will be back! In 2026. Yes, it looks like Blizzard is skipping their annual celebration this year as well, after not holing one in 2024 either. It remains to be seen if this means BlizzCon is now a tri-annual (the other tri-annual) event or if they'll be back to the regular schedule afterwards.

More interesting is the dates it's being held. September 12th and 13th at the Anaheim Convention Center. Aside from the 2021 event that was held in February (and was more a replacement for the cancelled 2020 one), Blizzcon has been held in November since 2013. Before that year, the Con was held mostly in October, except 2007 and 2009, which were in August.

We'll probably get more news on BlizzCon as we get closer to the event, like the price of the tickets and what will be announced there. This date is particularly odd for Hearthstone, whose expansions are released some time either before or after these dates.
