Pokémon Presents Scheduled for July, Legends Z-A to Launch in October

Big news for Pokémon fans! A new Pokémon Presents is scheduled for July 22nd. No details were given about the event, but it's likely to focus on existing and upcoming Pokémon titles, like Pocket, Champions, and, of course, Legends Z-A.

There's also a chance we'll see news about the next generation of mainline games, seeing as 2026 is the series' 30th anniversary. A Pokémon Presents in summer isn't unusual, but this is the first one to come out in July, with previous ones being in either June or August.

See you there, Trainers!

Furthermore, we now have confirmation that Legends Z-A will launch on October 16th. Weird that they didn't save that detail for the Present, but that's Nintendo for you. The game will release for both the Switch and Switch 2, with the former being upgradable to the latter, likely for free. Update: Pricing online actually seems to indicate the Switch 2 version will be 10 dollars more expensive.
