Great news for PSVR2 users! And the 3 Apple VR users reading our stuff. The Apple Vision Pro will soon support the PSVR2 controllers as an input method. Starting with visionOS 26, developers will be able to use these controllers for new gameplay experiences on the Vision Pro.
One of the biggest drawbacks of the PSVR 2 is that, unlike the PS5 and the Dualsense, you can't buy the controllers separately. If one of them goes out and Sony won't replace it, you'll have to buy an entire headset. With this new update, there's a very good chance you'll soon be able to purchase them separately. We'll have to wait on Sony for more details on that front, likely closer to when visionOS 26 goes live.
Quote From Apple visionOS 26 also introduces support for the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller. Now, developers can deliver even more engaging gameplay experiences for Apple Vision Pro thanks to high-performance motion tracking in 6 degrees of freedom, finger touch detection, and vibration support.
