Last week we saw the first trailer revealed for Battlefield 6, and with no release date yet confirmed, details are currently quite relaxed regarding the new title. With that said, we do have some leaky faucets (via 1BF on Telegram) that provide insights into the map pool we can expect at launch.
Battlefield is set to announce multiplayer details on July 31 during a stream (reveal event stream below if you want to bookmark it), where we should see map pool details, so this jumps the gun a couple of days. As with all leaked and rumored content, do know that until the developers make an announcement, take it with a grain of salt.
In total, 11 multiplayer maps are expected to be available at the launch of Battlefield 6. This is similar to the 10 launched with Battlefield 4.
Which Maps Will Battlefield 6 Launch With?
The 11 confirmed multiplayer maps that have been leaked are as follows:
- Abbasid [Cairo]
- Outskirts [Cairo]
- Battery [Gibraltar]
- Limestone [Gibraltar]
- Capstone [Tajikistan]
- Tungsten [Tajikistan]
- Dumbo [Brooklyn]
- Aftermath [Brooklyn]
- Eastwood [California]
- Badlands [California]
- Granite [California/Battle Royale/Gauntlet]
What is interesting though is the 4 remastered maps. These might also be in the regular map pool or perhaps available during special events. If they are included in the regular map pool, that gives us 15 total maps for multiplayer.

As we can see, we can expect Battlefield's maps to take place in California (USA), Brooklyn (USA), Cairo (Egypt), Gibraltar, and Tajikistan.
Also pictured are campaign missions which, spoiler alert, show us traveling around the world.
The Battlefield series has been having a tough time in recent years keeping players around. Will Battlefield 6 change this downward trend? Let us know what you think about the future of the game and what you are hoping to see from the new maps in the comments below.
