The August 2025 VR Showcase just concluded, and there are a number of interesting announcements to discuss. We have reveals for new games, updates on old ones, and an announcement from the folks at Flat2VR that should make porting flat games into VR much easier.
As always with the VR Showcase, each trailer is accompanied by a QR code you can scan to get you to the page of the respective game, which we'll put at the end of each game section. Any game that was revealed here for the first time will have a NEW next to their title (whether that's the announcement of a new game, or the fact that it's coming to VR is news).

Quest 3 - Fall 2025
A brand-new survival game that sees you trying to make it alive out of a dangerous jungle inspired by British Columbia. Developed by Incuvo, a People Can Fly studio that was responsible for VR ports of Bulletstorm, Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, and more.
Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss
SteamVR and Quest 3 - Holiday 2025
A board game in the world of Moss, one of the best VR platformer series out there. Control 3 heroes on a hexagonal board as you try to take down your opponent. A Developer Direct took place right after the main show concluded, going into details about the game.
Aces of Thunder
SteamVR, PS VR2, also available as a flat title- 2025
A long, long, LONG awaited dogfighting title that sees you taking control of various WW1 and WW2 planes. The game will offer free flight missions, online multiplayer, and a solo campaign.
Street Gods (NEW)
Quest 3
Roguelite brawler featuring Norse gods in the modern world. You'll fight a variety of monsters, and wield iconic weapons and artifacts from Norse myth, like Mjölnir.
Reach
Quest, PSVR2, Steam
A high-octane action-adventure game from the developers of Synapse. Traverse the environment with great speed and precision, and eliminate enemies using your bow and shield.
Dimensional Double Shift - New Joysey Expansion
Quest 3
Dimensional Double Shift is a coopertive multiplayer game from the creators of Vacation Simulator. A new expansion, titled New Joysey, will be released on the Quest 3, though no date was given.
Among Us 3D
Steam VR, Quest 3, PS VR2, Pico - Available Today
Among Us 3D brings a new event to the deduction game, and it comes with a new item that allows you to scan your crew-mates.
Grit and Valor: 1949 (NEW)
Steam, Quest 3, PS VR2 - October 21st
Grit and Valor is a Steampunk Strategy game that is already available as a flat game. A VR version, which comes with UI fitting of the medium, will release August 21st.
Hidden Memories of the Gardens Between (NEW)
Steam VR, Quest 3, PS VR2 - Out Now
A puzzle game where two friends relive their memories in the form of cylindrical dioramas. The game is available as a flat experience as simply The Gardens Between on a lot of platforms, including mobile, but this version has more content exclusive for VR.
No PS VR2 on this one, for some reason
Of Lies and Rain

A new surreal action game that makes full use of VR, with great graphics and immersive gameplay.
Exoshock
SteamVR, Quest 3
A co-op PvE shooter where you and a bunch of friends take on lots of enemies in an enclosed, sci-fi setting.
Neotic Realms

A new VR studio from Matteo311, one of the bigger VR YouTubers out there. No actual game announcement yet, only that they're developin an Action-RPG.
Ready or Not VRO Mod (NEW)
SteamVR
A tactical FPS that sees the players take control of SWAT officers in modern-day scenarios. This mod comes from Virtual Reality Oasis, and implements various quality of life features that make the game playable in VR.
Zix
SteamVR, Quest 3 - September 18 (in Early Access)
Announced at the previous VR Showcase, this is a roguelike shooter in a psychedelic world.
World War Z VR (NEW)
SteamVR, Quest 3 - Out Now
The zombie horde shooter is coming to VR! Mow down endless waves of enemies across various locations in the most immersive way possible.
Lushfoil Photography Sim VR (NEW)
SteamVR
The name is pretty self-explanatory, isn't it? Take photos in a wide variety of hyperrealistic locations. The game is available right now as a flat experience, and will be coming to VR in the future.
Stellar Café (NEW)
Quest 3
A puzzle game where you use your voice to control robotic NPCs powered by LLMs (think ChatGPT). You won't be able to use traditional controllers for this one, your voice will have to do.
Vex Mage (NEW)
SteamVR, Quest 3
A fast-paced shooter where you take control of a powerful mage and take on legions of enemies.
Forefront
SteamVR, Quest 3, Pico - Available Now in Open Alpha
A multiplayer shooter where half the fun comes from your friends you're trying to shoot, and the other half from VR shenanigans. You'll need to do stuff like manually reload your weapon, or, if you're a medic, rub the shock pads together. The game also features a high level of destruction on the environment.
Flat2VR
Finally, we have the announcements from Flat2VR studios, which specialize in porting flat games to VR platforms.
Trombone Champ - Undertale & Deltarune DLC (NEW)

Toby Fox's greatest hits can now be played on your virtual trombone! Can your lungs survive Megalovania? Trombone Champ is available both in flat and VR, and the songs will be as well.
Postal 2 Redux Kickstarter
SteamVR
A Kickstarter for the full remaster of the classic Postal 2 game is currently underway, and there's a tier that will give you both that gives you both that game and the VR version.
Flat2VR Spark (NEW)

Last, but certainly not least, we have not a game announcement, and more an initiative to allow for more games to be ported to VR. The announcement confirmed that I Am Your Beast, FlatOut 4, and The Signal are all coming to VR. There's also a teaser for a VR version of Poppy's Playtime.
