Exciting news for Pokémon Pocket players! Mega evolutions will come to the game, likely to coincide with the release of Legends Z-A in October and the paper TCG release of the Mega Evolution expansion in September. We don't have an exact release date, aside from a vague "in fall".
So far, we know only of the 3 cards shown below. Interesting to note that they don't evolve from their non-Mega counterparts, but rather the stage before that. So Mega Blaziken EX will evolve from Combusken directly. This change was also implemented in the proper TCG, so it's not exactly unexpected. Also of note is the penalty for losing: If your Mega faints, your opponent will get 3 point, instantly winning the match.
