PlayStation's 007: First Light State of Play Starts Now

Announced on the State of Play on June 4th, PlayStation is holding a State of Play specifically for 007: First Light. Watch the recap down below.

In typical 007 fashion, the game is all about using subterfuge and cunning tactics to work your way around the environment. In the trailer, we see bend able to access four different gadgets: a "shockwave camera" (triangle), "smoke pods" (square), a "dart phone" (circle), and a "hack watch" (X). We also see two driving sections because no 007 movie is complete without a car chase sequence.

In the event that you need to go through people to obtain your objective, Bond can bluff his way through enemies and surreptitiously disguise himself under a different alias to get through restricted areas. Sometimes, cloak and dagger isn't an option though and that's when you need to go guns a' blazing and use the environment to clear out a crowd of enemies.

Game releases March 27th 2026. You may also pre-order the game to get a deluxe edition upgrade at no additional cost with four exclusive outfits, one new weapon skin, and a "gleaming pack" for each of the four gadgets seen in the trailer.
