A New Pokémon TCG Pocket Expansion Is Coming - Deluxe Pack: ex Will Be Available Between September 30th and October 30th

The next Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion will release on September 30th, and this one's a bit different.  Deluxe Pack: ex doesn't bring any new card mechanically, instead being more of a catch-up pack of the most used cards in the past set, something the paper game does as well.

Each pack will have at least a 4-diamond card or better, but the trailer and some leaks makes it look like packs will only have 4 cards in them as opposed to the usual 5. Still, this is a great way for new players to catch up or old players to complete their missing collections. There will be some new full-art cards for collectors to chase.

In the paper game, those kinds of expansions release when a series ends. We're currently in A-series, with Deluxe Pack: ex having the A4b code. This means that B series will begin in October, when Megas arrive. Those series are used for rotation, but don't expect that to happen any time soon.

What are your thoughts on this set release? Are you going to fill your collection, chase some of the new cards, or are you simply saving your hourglasses for the next set? Let us know in the comments below!
