A new bundle of packs has been released today and it's quite a bit different than other packs!
The Mage Pack Bundle is a special bundle that contains ONLY MAGE CARDS and only from Year of the Dragon sets. If you're interested, 5 packs will set you back $9.99. We're assuming since its a pack, a fresh pity timer is available meaning there's a large chance of getting a Legendary.
Update: Blizzard has ninja-edited their blog stating the Mage Packs contain Mage cards from any Standard set, not just the Year of the Dragon ones. We've left the original quote down below.

Quote From Blizzard For the first time ever, we’re offering a class-specific pack for a limited time! From February 26 – March 4 you can get 5 Mage Packs containing strictly Mage class cards from the Year of the Dragon (Rise of Shadows, Saviors of Uldum, and Descent of Dragons) for $9.99!

Ya it's a bit strange at 5 packs. Maybe a ploy to get people to buy this twice to trigger the pity timer.
I think they are testing the responce and the numbers and then we will probably see this "promotion" for every class. Which is kinda sad - more ways to take away our money :(. Greed is everywhere.
Yes, truly sad that they forced you to pay for this against your will...
Or you could try being accountable for your own choices. Just a thought.
Nice thought. Thanks for sharing it.
Also Khadgar comes to shop.
how is this an improvement for F2P players? By selling cards now?
"we've planned a limited time anniversary event beginning March 4 that will bring special Tavern Brawls, a new legendary quest line, and a heaping helping of log-in rewards"
So, no Tavern Brawl this week. Instead, we get free packs, and new Legendary quest chain.
Interesting. Very interesting.
I feel this is aimed at new players, since most new players come out the gate playing as Mage. It's a good way for them to get some cards for the class that they have learned to play the game on.
That's really expensive. How big is the cardpool? 27 cards?
Yeah--mathwise, that sounds like a HORRIBLE deal. Any day of the year, you can get 7 packs for the same price; granted, those results will be scattered across all 9 classes, but it's 40% more cards for something that's even not "on sale". Normally, their deals are something like $20 for 25-30 packs. I'm afraid of what happens if this sells well.
Yeah, it's a bad deal for people that go for complete collections, but it is a "good deal" for people that mainly play one class.
Some f2p or people that "main" classes could reliably get cards for their favorite class. It would greatly reduce the $$$ needed to "complete" your collection.
Even better, if they added the possibility of buying them with gold. As someone who plays mostly 1-2 classes, I would pay 200g for one pack of my favorite classes.
