We just witnessed a new PlayStation State of Play. This one was only broadcast in Japanese and focuses on Japanese media, but it does include English subtitles. We've got the full video down below.
Now let's recap everything we witnessed.

BrokenLore: Unfollow
If you've been on the internet for any amount of time, you know that social media is bad sometimes. BrokenLore: Unfollow focuses on exactly that premise. Launching January 26, 2026 is a game where the effects of a fully connected world on one person manifests all of the negative aspects into a world of horror.
BrokenLore: Ascend
BrokenLore doesn't stop there though. We also have the most recent game in the series that focuses on two characters attempting to climb the Tokyo Tower in the pursuit of chasing fame only to figure out that what's at the top is not what they had hoped. Releases Summer 2026.
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake

Dynasty Warriors: Origins - Visions of Four Heroes DLC

Gran Turismo 7 Power Pack Add-On
During the last State of Play, Kazunori Yamauchi announced the Gran Turismo 7 Spec III Update, which is adding a lot of technical features and gameplay tweaks, two new race tracks (Yas Marina Circuit and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve), and eight new cars, including the return of the legendary Renault Espace F1. This is proving to be the update that keeps on giving, because one very huge feature was also announced: the Power Pack. A huge series of more realistic races, complete with a qualifying period and everything. There's even a 24-hour race in there. I bet everything that it's at Circuit de la Sarthe.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac/Sonic the Hedgehog Collaboration
The remake to one of Pac-Man's most iconic adventures is getting a rather uncanny collaboration with Sonic the Hedgehog. Play as the yellow ball in Sonic's worlds with gameplay gimmicks familiar to fans of both games, and fight Dr. Eggman (or "Robotnik" if you're a classicist). But it's out today! Right now! Like, really, you can play it at this exact second.

Super Robot Wars Y - DLC Pack 1
Having released in August of this year, Super Robot Wars Y has a new DLC pack coming very soon with crossover content from Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, The Big O, and Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull. If you don't know what either of those things are, then don't worry, because neither do I. But when I said it's coming "very soon", I meant very soon. November 21, 2025.

Oh yeah, and that paid SpongeBob DLC pack is only eight days away from now.
Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse
Pocketpair (you know, the Palworld guys?) have a new game releasing on March 5, 2026. Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse can best be described as a hybrid of Hollow Knight and Super Mario: Odyssey. You play as a witch with the ability to throw her hat onto enemies to take control of them in this metroidvania. If you're still on the PS4, then good news for you, because it's coming out on that system too.

A prequel to the acclaimed RPG series from Square Enix, Octopath Traveler 0 arrives quicker than you expect. It releases for all modern systems on December 4, 2025. Not only that, but you can also play the demo for it right now.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls (Second Closed Beta)
"From Japan to the world" is the philosophy here, and the game is also opening its second closed beta period from December 5 to December 7. Spider-Man and Ghost Rider will also now be playable for the second closed beta.
Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollow
Elden Ring Nightreign is getting its first DLC, The Forsaken Hollow, on December 4, 2025. As you'd expect, it comes with new bosses and weapons and all that jazz, but fans of previous FromSoft games will also notice a glimpse of Artorias from the original Dark Souls DLC, Artorias of the Abyss.
27" Gaming Monitor
This was a very "blink and miss it" announcement on the State of Play, but Sony also announced a new 27" gaming monitor complete with a DualSense charging hook to charge your controllers from right beneath the screen. They announced that it would come to the US and Japan in 2026, although no mention of when (or even if) it will exist in other territories, or even the price is known.
