Pokemon TCG's Next Special Set Ascended Heroes Products Arrive in Early 2026

We've got a fresh announcement today on the next set coming to the Pokemon Trading Card Game and it's a special edition set as a part of the Mega Evolution lineup - Ascended Heroes!

What's Coming in Mega Evolution - Ascended Heroes?

Here's what we can expect out of Ascended Heroes:

• 13 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
• Six Tera Pokémon ex and 20 Pokémon ex
• 33 illustration rare Pokémon
• 14 ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Pokémon ex and Trainer cards
• Seven Mega attack rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
• 22 special illustration rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Pokémon ex and Supporter cards

Mega Evolution - Ascended Heroes Product Lineup

There are six new products arriving with the special set, Ascended Heroes. There will not be booster boxes as this is a special set, which means it will be a bit tougher to acquire a large quantity of packs. This is akin to Pokemon 151 and last year's Black Bolt & White Flare sets.

Exact MSRPs for all products is not currently available, though we expect the usual prices for cards assuming you can even find them at the "correct" price outside of waiting for Pokemon Center drops.

Here are all the new products and their release dates.

Jan 30 - Ascended Heroes Collection

The Ascended Heroes Collection includes:

• 2x Ascended Heroes Booster Packs
• 1x Promo Card featuring a Trainer's Pokemon
• 1x Matching Coin

Jan 30 - Ascended Heroes Tech Sticker Collection

The Ascended Heroes Tech Sticker Collection includes:

• 3x Ascended Heroes Booster Packs
• 1x Rare-style Promo Card featuring Charmander or Gastly
• 1x Sticker Sheet featuring Mega Charizard Y or Mega Gengar respectively

This is two separate products, themed with either Charizard or Gengar.

Feb 20 - Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box

The Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box includes:

• 9x Ascended Heroes Booster Packs
• 1x Rare-style Promo card featuring N's Zekrom
• The usual gameplay accessories (dice, counters, sleeves, etc.)

Feb 20 - Ascended Heroes Mini Tins

There are five variants of the Ascended Heroes Mini Tins, which feature the following Pokemon:

• Clefairy
• Pikachu
• Togepi
• Zorua
• Riolu

The contents of the tins are the same, which is:

• 2x Ascended Heroes Booster Packs
• 1x Art Card
• 1x Sticker Card featuring the tin's artwork

Mar 20 - Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection

There are two different versions of the Premium Poster Collection, featuring Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex from Mega Evolution. The collections include:

• 10x Ascended Heroes Booster Packs
• 1x Mega Attack Rare-style promo card featuring Mega Gardevoir ex or Mega Lucario ex
• 1x Full-sized card of the same card above
• 1x two-sided poster featuring a large print of the matching promo card

Apr 24 - Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle

And finally, to cap off the product releases for Ascended Heroes, we've got the booster bundle.

• 6x Ascended Heroes Booster Packs

This is undoubtedly the best value for getting card packs since they don't include anything else, but if one only wants to chase packs and is willing to sell the various promo cards and such from the other products, you'd be better off chasing the Poster Collections and Elite Trainer Boxes, especially a Pokemon Center variant.

But Wait, There's... More?

Yes, there will be additional products later in 2026 that will contain packs for Ascended Heroes. The Pokemon Company has not yet made an announcement on the exact specifics, just know that there will be additional ways to obtain packs for the special set.

Ascended Heroes Arrives on Pokemon TCG Live on January 29

If you're looking to play digitally, which will undoubtedly be the easiest way to experience this new set of content in its fullest without breaking the bank, Ascended Heroes will be making its way to TCG Live on January 29.
