As announced on Destructoid, MTG Arena is getting a new round of Historic-only cards - 25 in total!

  • The additions to Historic arrive on March 12.
  • You can purchase Historic Anthology II for 25,000 Gold, or 4,000 Gems.
  • Cards in Historic Anthology 1 can also be crafted with Wildcards.
  • Historic cards are playable in Traditional Ranked Historic (Bo3), Ranked Historic (Bo1), and Historic Events.
  • Historic Anthology I is going to be able to be changed so it can be purchased for 20,000 Gold (new) or the existing 3,400 Gems.

This is a part of Wizards' strategy behind the Historic rollout in MTG Arena which includes new card drops each quarter, the last one coming on November 21, 2019.

New Secret Lair Product w/ Arena Card Styles

A new Secret Lair product has been announced and it features 4 new cosmetic versions of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben.

  • The drop goes live on March 12 at 9 AM PT.
  • It includes 4 different versions of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben for $29.99.
  • For the first time, purchasers will also unlock card styles for the cards in MTG Arena and the usual Secret Lair Sleeve Unlock.
