Twitch Drops Return to Escape From Tarkov to Celebrate Winter, in Both PvP and PvE Zones

Twitch drops are currently LIVE for Escape From Tarkov. Watch any Tarkov steam to take part in the event which runs until January 4 at 10 AM. Not playing Escape From Tarkov yet? The game is currently on discount on Steam for the Steam Holiday Sale.

What to Expect From the Winter Twitch Drops

If you took part in the Twitch drops during the release of Escape From Tarkov, then you already know what to expect for this run of drops.

• Every hour you will receive a different crate by watching Tarkov on Twitch.
• Up to 9 hours of Tarkov per day will give you maximum rewards.
• New days start 24 hours after the previous one, with 10 AM Eastern being the switchover time.
• Crates are delivered to you via in-game mail and expire so clear up some inventory space to open them up!

If you are looking for the exact times, be sure to check your drops page on Twitch to monitor your status and when the next wave is coming.

Day 1 Drop Details

Crates contain random items from different pools based on the rarity of the crate. You can find items to help you with your hideouts, to eat, and to deck yourself out in new gear.

• Watch for 1 hour and claim the reward Common 1
• Watch for 2 hours and claim the reward Rare 1
• Watch for 3 hours and claim the reward Common 2
• Watch for 4 hours and claim the reward Rare 2
• Watch for 5 hours and claim the reward Epic 1
• Watch for 6 hours and claim the reward Common 3
• Watch for 7 hours and claim the reward Rare 3
• Watch for 8 hours and claim the reward Common 4
• Watch for 9 hours and claim the reward Epic 2

Tarkovians!

The now traditional New Year's Twitch Drops Event will take place this year from December 22 3PM GMT / 10AM EST to January 4 3PM GMT / 10AM EST.

We have listened to your requests and now Twitch Drops are available in both PVP and PvE Zone.

Drops will be activated on the channels of ALL Twitch streamers without exception who will be broadcasting in the Escape from Tarkov category.

During the campaign, at certain intervals, you will be guaranteed to receive an unlockable container, which are categorized by the rarity of the contents – Common, Rare and Epic.

Enjoy watching your favourite streamers and receiving gifts for participating in New Year's events. Good luck in Tarkov, you'll need it!

Here's a reminder of the basic rules so you don't miss out on your reward:

• Drops can be earned by users who have an active copy of the game. If you don't have your own copy yet, you can purchase it here;
• To receive or enable Drops, both the viewer and the streamer need to attach their Twitch account to their game profile on the project's website. You can do this here;
• You can watch one or more broadcasts, but viewing time for rewards will only count if those broadcasts are participating in the event;
• Create a profile on twitch.tv if you don't have one.
