World of Warcraft Midnight to Add a Prop Hunt Mini Game - Introducing Decor Duel

In today's State of Azeroth stream, Blizzard has announced that the fun "Prop Hunt" genre of games is being added as a mini game in World of Warcraft Midnight.

Patch 12.0.5 will introduce a 5v5 Prop Hunt activity, which is being called "Decor Duel" and will allow you to queue, get paired up with players, and then fight for glory. This will take place in Silvermoon, and both the Alliance and Horde neighbourhoods that are used for player housing. One team gets to disguise themselves as props and hide in the environment while the other team gets to go and find them.

Blizzard has clearly found an additional fun way to make use of all the work they've been putting into the brand new player housing system, and that's great to see. Being able to reuse features in your game for other ones, especially when they are just meant to be fun, gives everyone added value and it's great to see World of Warcraft move into more topics.

No progression should be expected, this is all just for fun! It's possible we could see rewards and achievements, but Blizzard has yet to make an announcement about any so take it with a grain of salt. We'd also expect to see the Trading Post to get some completion potential via Decor Duel, but that also is pure speculation.
