Cataclysm went live a couple of days ago and there are so many freebies available and coming in the future, it's time to get a reminder of what's here so you don't miss out on anything. Here's what's free in Hearthstone's Cataclysm.
A Free Colossal Minion
If you haven't hit up the rewards track yet, there are plenty of rewards waiting to collect by playing the game but one of them, requires to playing at all! Simply opening up the journal and heading to the rewards track gets you a free random Colossal minion - from Cataclysm, just so we're clear on that.
Week 1 Freebies
This week, through the 23rd of March, you can get yourself 2x Free Cataclysm Packs! Scrolling all the way to the bottom of the shop's Featured section (that's the first section when you initially open the shop) and you can click a "Free!" button to get your packs.
Rally of the Dragonflights
The community event, Rally of the Dragonflights, concluded with the launch of Cataclysm and now it's time for the rewards!
2x Envoy of the End Signature Cards
1x Ebyssian Legendary Card
1x Random Cataclysm Legendary Card
This can be claimed up until Patch 35.6, which we do not yet have a release date for. You're reading this though, so go and get it, champ!
Beyond The First Week
Blizzard has lined up several more freebies for the launch of the expansion that go into the middle of April. Here's what else you can expect to see in the in-game shop:
Week 2: 2x Random Cataclysm Epic Cards
Week 3: 2x Signature Armored Bloodletter Common Cards
Week 4: 1x Random Cataclysm Legendary Card
You definitely won't want to miss out on Weeks 2 & 3 from a collection value point of view. We will also be seeing some rewards coming that are exclusive to the Battle.net Web Store.
Week 2: 1x Golden Cataclysm Pack
Week 3: 1x Cataclysm Pack
Week 4: 1x Cataclysm Pack
We can look forward to that golden pack next week, starting on March 24. We've called it Week 2 to align better with the other set of rewards.
An in-game event, a second one, is also coming starting on April 7 and running for only one week which gives the following:
