VR Games Showcase March Recap - Everything that was announced

Published 23 hours ago by (Updated 23 hours ago)

The VR Games Showcase happened earlier today, and it was chock-full of announcement for VR owners of all headsets (aka Quest, PSVR2 and SteamVR, though the Steam Frame was mentioned a few times as well). This article will serve as a recap of the whole thing, including release dates and trailers. Let's get into it!

Pre-Show and Updates

A number of games got some new information in the 20-minute segment that preceded the actual show (because that's a thing for some reason), and there's also a few that only got a short segment. Here's what they are!

Bloxer

Meta Quest (Out Now)

VR multiplayer arcade game for up to 9 people where you need to punch blocks.

How to God

Meta Quest (Out Now)

God sim game where you take care of a cute world as an all-powerful deity.

Shop & Stuff

Meta Quest (out now); PSVR2 (March 27th)

Comedic shopping sim from the "& Stuff" series. Serve your clients, clean the bathroom, and do everything else you'd do as a supermarket employee.

Meta Quest (Out Now)

Rhythm climbing game where you must scale a surface in time with the music. Now with multiplayer.

A Long Survive

Meta Quest (Out Now), Steam VR, PSVR2 (April 30th)

First-person real-time strategy game with a multiplayer mode. Hold back hordes of zombies as you try for a long survive (eh, eh?).

Virtual Hunter

Meta Quest, PSVR2 (May 27th); Steam VR (Out Now)

Deer hunting game in VR. Traverse the forest as you try to hunt for a buck. Or a deer.

Full Steam Undead

Meta Quest, Steam VR

Isle of Food

SteamVR, PSVR2, Meta Quest, Pico, Epic Games Store(?)

Survival game with cartoony graphics set on an island. It also list the Epic Games Store as a platform, so either they will start supporting VR games, or this one will be playable flat.

Steam, SteamVR

Horror game set in an underground bunker (a confined space, if you will). Playable in both VR and flat.

Plasmabourne

Meta Quest II and III (Out Now)

VR roguelike first-person shooter. Great variety of guns, enemies, and environments.

Interlocked: Puzzle Island

Meta Quest (Out Now); Steam and SteamVR (Coming Soon)

Crepe Master

Meta Quest

Sol Protocol

Meta Quest III

Space-faring co-op roguelike where you and up to 2 friends explore space and gather resources together.

Beat the Beats (and others)

PSVR2 (Out Now); Pico (April 2nd); SteamVR, Meta Quest (April 2nd, demo out now)

Rhythm game that's all about boxing. Think Beat Sabers, but with punching instead of lightsabers.

I'll use this space to mention some other updates, since they were announced in the same segment as Beat the Beats, but have no trailer:

  • Bootstrap Island - Major content update coming in Q2 2026.

  • Puzzling Places - Comes to Steam, new demo available.

  • Legendary Tales - Dawn of History expansion is out.

Ok, now that we're done with the pre-show and quick-fire updates, we can get into the big updates from the show. The last 4 games were made by Flat2VR Studios, who specialize in porting games to VR, meaning there are flat version of those if that's not your fancy.
