It's Thursday, meaning we're getting a new batch of free Epic games! This week, we have a cozy colony sim in the middle of the ocean and a retro em-up. Mobile players are getting a minigame collection about being careful around trains visual novel about loss and learning to process it. Let's take a look!
For mobile players, you'll need to download the app on your iOS (EU only) or Android device and download it. If you get anything, don't forget to use the code OUTOFGAMES on checkout. Without further ado, let's get into it!
Clone Drone in the Danger Zone - PC
A voxel based hack-and-slash game. Cut your enemies to pieces with your legally-distinct lightsaber, and watch the pixelated chuncks fall on the ground in procedurally-generated shapes. Fight to the end, even if all that's left of you is an arm and a leg.
Dumb Ways to Die 2 - Mobile
So many dumb ways to die (for real this time). Originally started as an awareness campaign by Metro Trains in Melbourne, Australia, it eventually got its own short video game, which plays similar to WarioWare and encourages people to avoid various ways to lose their lives. This is the second game in the series, which has a wider variety of games and groups them by team, like medieval, or track-and-field.
TOMAK: Save the earth regeneration - PC
There's nothing wrong with the audio, this is just the best trailer I could find.
This game will be offered for free until the 16th of April, so it's in the store for 2 weeks rather than the usual 1. It's a visual novel about... checks notes ...nurturing the goddess of love back to full power while she's stuck as a potted plant. It appears to be a remake of the 2001 game Tomak: Jigu-reul Jikyeora.
What do you think of today's game(s)? What other titles would you like to see Epic give away for free? Let us know in the comments below! See you next week with Prop Sumo.
