Hearthstone just announced Season 13 is coming on April 14th, and we're getting back to trinkets! For those who haven't played this mechanic before, trinkets are very powerful passives you Discover on turns 6 and 9. This season, one of the trinkets will be guaranteed to synergize with your board, allowing for more consistent games. In addition:
Demons and Dragons are getting new keywords.
Demons get Fodder, which adds 2/2 Demon that feeds itself to a random friendly Demon, then refreshes the spot it was in. Fodders are added by specific cards into the tavern, so it's not exactly random.
Dragons get Chromadrake, one for each dragonflight (Red, Black, Bronze, Green, Blue), which are minions with 8 total stats in their base form and a beneficial battlecry (+1 Attack on spells, +1 Health on Spells, +5 Attack on Dragons, +5 Health on Dragons, and a random 2-cost Tavern Spell respectively)
Genn, Worgen King and Mr. Clocksworth join the Hero pool.
Genn discovers two Hero Powers on turn two for you to use (yes, you keep both).
Clocksworth only need two minions to make a Golden, but you get a coin instead of a Triple Reward.
The reward track will refresh when the new season starts.

When Season 13 starts, Anomalies and the Timewarped Tavern will be removed from the Tavern.
New Keyword for Demons: Fodder
Fodder minions are added to your personal minion pool. Whenever you Refresh into one, a hungry friendly Demon consumes it, gains its stats, and refills the slot.

New Keyword for Dragons: Chromadrake
Each Chromadrake provides a unique effect that helps power up your Dragons while also enhancing your Tavern Spells.
New Minions
Get ready for 48 new minions across all minion types. Here’s an early look at one of them: Balinda Stonehearth, who doubles the effects of your Spellcrafts, Blood Gems, and Tavern Spells.
Returning Mechanic: Trinkets
Trinkets return in Battlegrounds Season 13 with an enhanced system. You’re now guaranteed a trinket of your most common type in both Lesser and Greater selections, making it easier to find trinkets that fit your strategy and see stronger options more often.

Battlegrounds Track Refresh
On April 14, Battlegrounds Season 12 will end, and Season 13 will begin! With that, Battlegrounds Ratings will reset, and the Battlegrounds Track will update. Any rewards that were already earned from the Season 12 Rewards Track, but not yet claimed, will be automatically claimed for you.
The Season 13 Battlegrounds Track includes brand new cosmetics featuring Deathwing, Sindragosa, and more. Pick up the Season Pass to instantly unlock +2 Hero options at the start of each game. Then, progress through the Season Pass track to earn the new Cataclysmic Strike, 13 additional Hero Skins, a new Bartender, and more! Or upgrade to the Season Pass + to get all the rewards from the Season Pass plus one included Hero re-roll per game.

Creator Early Access Event (with Drops!)
On April 9, watch your favorite content creators play the new Season live! Participating players will be streaming on their personal channels, so make sure you have notifications turned on. Time slots by region are:
Americas, LATAM, EMEA regions: April 9 at 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. PDT
JP: April 10 at 2:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. PDT
CN: April 9 at 6:00 p.m. PDT - April 10 at 8:00 a.m. PDT
Participating creators will be giving away Battlegrounds Season Pass + codes.
Drops will be enabled category-wide on Twitch. Watch for a total of 2 hours to earn 4 Battlegrounds Tokens (2 total hours, 1 hour per drop).
