Steam Controller Launches on May 4th for 99 USD

A while ago, Valve announced three pieces of hardware that will release this year. Well, the first of these is about to come out: The Steam Controller. It's slated for release for the 4th of May, for an MSRP of 99 USD or your regional equivalent.

Now, that's quite a steep price. For comparison, the Xbox series controller is 65 USD, PlayStation's Dualsense is 75, and Nintendo's Pro controller is 90.

However, the Steam Controller TMR sticks (which are more resistant to drift, and none of the other controllers have them), two touchpads (which only the Dualsesne has, and in a worse position) and 4 back buttons (which only the Pro controller has, and only two). So the price, while steep, is great for what you're getting.

Go to Steam's official page for details on the controller.
