Forza Horizon 6 Gets Cracked and Pirated a Week Before Its Scheduled Release

Published 20 hours ago by

NOTE: This article contains references to leaked game content. If you'd rather be surprised by the content at the developer's intended time, you may wish to avoid reading this.

Forza Horizon 6 is set to release on May 19 2026, although others have not only played the game before this date, but every single part of the game has been cracked and available to play.

The earliest post I can find referencing this leak is this Reddit thread explaining that the developers accidentally updated the Steam files without encrypting the preload. On SteamDB, only one patch has been reported for the game, which happened at 3:40 yesterday (I assume it's in my local time zone, which would be 3:40PM EST, but I'm not entirely sure).

This now deleted Reddit thread also mentions that players of the leaked game have been facing permanent hardware bans. This image from the thread that has been saved shows an unbanning date of December 31 9999 for "cheating/unallowed modding". It's not known yet if this was a typo, an unmoderated automation issue, or if the Forza Team really wants to ban you for 8000 years.

Either way, this is a warning in the event that you choose to go on the route of piracy. Internet posts with the game follows contained have been deleted, but I'm sure they keep going up if you wish to search for them yourself.

Several cars have also been leaked to be part of the Game Pass subscription, including but may or may not be limited to:

  • Honda FD2 Civic

  • Audi R8 GT

  • Nissan Carbon 240Z Time Attack

  • Mad Mike's Mazda 808 Wagon

  • Koenigsegg Gemera

  • Nissan Calsonic Skyline R32 GT-R

  • Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R

  • Toyota GR Corolla

  • Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of sailing the high seas, devs have responded to this and said they'd hardware-ban anyone who plays the game before release.

  • That is a big "oof" on the premature, and unsecure, update. ROFL.
