Welp, looks like PlayStation is due for another price hike. This one is for their PS Plus subscriptions, mainly the 1 and 3-month plans for Essential. The new prices will be 10.99 USD / €9.99 EUR / £7.99 GBP and $27.99 USD / €27.99 EUR / £21.99 GBP, respectively. The new prices will take effect starting on May 20th.
On the bright side, it seems that Extra and Premium subscriptions are unaffected, alongside 12-month Essential plans. The price increase will also only affect new subscribers, so if you keep your recurring, it should be fine... unless you're in Turkey or India, in which case, you'll need to pay more.
