Zelda: Ocarina of Time Announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Launching in 2026

Nintendo has announced that Zelda Ocarina of Time is making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. No other information has been provided at this time but "more details will be announced in the future".

At the very least, the game is now confirmed instead of just being a rumor.

It does look like Nintendo has gone for some incredible visuals with the game, assuming the above image is captured in-engine. Quite a bit different than the last time we were in Ocarina of Time on a home console... in 1998. Oh my, it's been a while!

The logo has gotten a large facelift, and we get to see the Master Sword and Hylian Shield in HD glory.

2026. That's sometime in the next six months. Nintendo really just had to give us the smallest tease possible, didn't they? Hopefully we aren't too far off more news about the remake.
