The Dragon Quest series is back with a new installment in the Monsters spinoff, The Withered World, releasing at the tail end of the year.
Monsters are not your enemies in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World. Or well actually, they still are, but you have the power to turn them into your allies. "Scout" a monster that you find and it will join by your side.
If that wasn't fun enough for you, you can also synthesize two monsters together to create bigger, stronger monsters. Encounter monsters, use them to build your own team, and then use that team to take down the bad guys.
