Embark Studios has pushed ARC Raiders Store Update 1.38.0 live across all platforms, and it arrives on the very same day the Fourth Expedition departure kicks off. The update slips two fresh colours into the Torpedo cosmetic set, begins testing tweaks to matchmaking, and sends off everyone taking on a new run Topside.
What's new in the store?
The headline additions are two new looks for the Torpedo set - Camo and Black. If you already own the outfit, you'll get them automatically, and there's no need to restart the game to grab them.

The Fourth Expedition is departing today
The Expedition Departure is happening today too, so it's a fresh start for a lot of Raiders. Embark is asking players on their Fourth Expedition to share which Mystery Rewards they've received. What's changing with matchmaking?
Embark says it has heard the feedback on matchmaking. The studio notes it works well most of the time, but there's room for improvement, and it's setting out where the rough spots tend to show up.

Starting today, we'll be testing adjustments to our matchmaking algorithm aimed at improving the quality of your matches. One thing to note: the algorithm may take a little longer to find a match, since it's now working harder to find you a better one.
What does this mean for you? You should run into squads that match your playstyle and squad size even more consistently, making for more fair and enjoyable raids.
