Do not open your pack (unless you have all classic commons, rares and epics) until the duplicate protection hits!
I am not sure that this will help. They told us many times that what is in the Pack is decided when you get it not when you open it.

The rarities are, the exact contents are not. So the rarity protection should occur if you save the packs.
