A new OpenRCT2 update has just dropped, and this one has quite a few interesting new changes.
Clear Scenery Tool Improvements
The clear scenery tool has seen another improvement because it can now be used to remove footpath ornamentation (benches, bins, etc.) and walls, independently of the footpath itself.

Unnamed Rides from RCT1 DLC Now use their RCT CLassic Names
In the Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes DLC for RCT1, lots of rides were generically named things like "Wooden Roller Coaster" or "Vertical Drop Coaster".
When RCT Classic came out in 2016, these rides were given new proper names. This is most easily noticeable on scenarios with a goal to finish five partially built coasters like Volcania or Dragon's Cove.
OpenRCT2 however continued to use their old generic names, but no more. As of this update, all of those generically named rides now use their proper RCT Classic names.

A couple other rides were also renamed. Alton Towers in particular is known for its "incorrectly" named Hex... the Legend of theTowers, which intentionally omitted the space in-between "the" and "Towers" to accommodate for the original game's character limit. This update has since fixed a few oddities like that, and the name now reads properly.
Imrpoved Footpath Dragging Tool
Implemented in version 0.4.28 was the footpath dragging tool, which allowed the player to create a long line of footpaths with a single click.
While this feature was incredibly useful on flat terrain, it was not quite as good on inclines since the path would just follow the inclines.

The tool has seen an update now, and it'll actually create a proper path block instead of placing random path across the inclines.

Cheat Window Placement Changes
The places where some cheat windows are placed has been changed in this update.
Previously, the ride type selection cheat would be found in a drop-down below on the ride overview page. This placement however didn't really make that much sense, so now it's been placed in the ride operations menu.

The same is true for the ride visibility cheat, which is now found in the color scheme options menu.

Quote From Michael Steenbeek (Gymnasiast) Imagine the situation. You get back from holiday, well-rested and ready to go again. Lots of things that need cleaning up. So you pour yourself a nice cup of Conquistador Coffee and get to work.
Or at least that’s what we did. We solved a record amount of bugs, but also cleaned up large areas of our code and cleaned out lots of bug reports that were no longer applicable or just duplicates of others. And we’re certainly not done yet, but we didn’t want to keep all the nice stuff from you. We hope you enjoy it!
