One of the more "out there" games from today's Nintendo Direct was the newly announced game, Ondeh Ondeh Kaya's Tasty Tale.
If you don't know what "Ondeh Ondeh" refers to is, it appears to be an alternate spelling of onde-onde, which is a traditional Indonesian rice cake, fitting with the game's name and Southeast-Asian theming all around.
In the game, you take control of Kaya on her quest to become a Worldbuilder, through a series of platforms and puzzles.

But there's more than meets the eye. Kaya's journey isn't just about brain power and jumping power. It's also about musical power.
Ondeh Ondeh Kaya's Tasty Tale is also part rhythm game. You see those crushers in the image above? The pattern follows the pace of the music. Listen to the music to feel the world around you as you progress.
Naturally, this also extends to the combat.

You'll encounter monsters on your path, but those too act on the rhythm of the music. Watch those beats and the enemies, you shall beat.
Kaya also uses a wooden spoon as her weapon of choice, and in this screenshot, we can also see something relating to all of the different taste buds. That and with the name alluding to Southeast-Asian cuisine, it's only natural that there's some type of food component in the game, though we don't see much of this throughout the trailer.

Even though it was only announced during the Nintendo Direct, there is also a PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam version coming soon.
