IT'S SO FLUFFY!!!
I can't believe it's already February.
Over in the Eastern US, there's been a lot of snow and some snowstorm warnings, though thankfully I've managed to keep power the whole time. I know in Australia, temperatures have been raising up to 50 Celsius (an American acknowledging non-American measurements, a sign of the apocalypse, I know!). How has the weather been for you guys? Hopefully not too bad.
What have you been playing?
After Old School Rally disappointed me, I was hoping my next indie rally game would be better...

And I'm not quite so sure what to make of it. It's not bad, but it feels like there's a lot lacking. It's just worse Art of Rally, which is a fantastic indie rally racer.
In other news, I got five PS5 games for Thanksgiving-Christmas and of as today, I've still only played two of them. Backlog curse.

Personally did not have much time to play this month so I parked AC Odyssey on Feb 1 and have been just playing some Typing of the dead overkill when I have enough time. Played just 5 levels and It is cringy and fun. Never tried It before and It is good. Better than expected.
On the other hand my phisical pc colection IS already on SD cards. Will keep working on It Next month with the boxes and art.
In my never-ending catalogue of racing games (and really, games of all genres if I'm being real) to play on Steam, New Star GP is a fun one that I've come across.
It's a polygonal-graphic style Formula 1 game with arcade-y physics, but tracks that are designed to look like real F1 tracks. One moment, you're racing on "Totally Not Monaco", then "Totally Not Suzuka", then "Totally Not Spa-Francorchamps", then "Totally Not COTA" and the list goes on.
Actually a really fun little arcade racer with a lot of personality.
