This card is scary as hell.
Basically a mutanus for spells, and at 5 mana. The only mitigating factor here is that its not a battlecry and therefore cannot be brann-ed, and you cannot play according to what is being discarded. Dont even bother thinking about value because there's absolutely no way this card will ever survive more than a turn, unless your opponent is playing no spells at all.
Well, that's broken. I guess this is the way to bring Control Warrior back, just make them lock out the opponent from winning.
You can even build an anti-spell combo with Faceless Manipulator and To the Front to just dump all their spells from hand. Phylactery Warlock on suicide watch.

Meme aside :
I like it more than asvedon on the ground that you can at least play that guy proactively whenever opponent's spell are scarce. And broadly speaking, I find ressource-denying way more powerful than ressource-copying.
It's an okay card. Desirable, but not a must-include.
I'm a bit worried that it might be the "one-too-much" Hand disruptive card. Dev's really need to stop administering so much of those "coping-mechanism"-treatment card; and think about actual solution for the true underlying problems : powercreep & lack of interactivity.
Interesting that Warrior is getting cards like this and Asvedon, the Grandshield. Anybody with a deck that focuses on spells is going to need to either kill this quick, or concede. Hell, the mere existence of this might prevent such decks from being prevalent.
Nice try, but I'll be playing Discard Warlock!
Would be funny playing this and it discards Soul Barrage for your opponent. Instant concede there. Also, would this minion permanently discard Vision of Darkness? I'd be interested to see that interaction. Aside from that, weird disruption that doesn't really fit anywhere in warrior atm.

This is a really strong disruption effect for warrior. It helps them stay alive for longer, but i do wonder if control warrior will be good enough with this card in the deck. Control warrior is currently... let's say... non existant since it got murdered by nerfs during Sunken City. So i'm not sure if this sees play, unless control warrior somehow gets ressurected. (probably by getting a bunch of cards un-nerfed if i had to guess.)

Bad, but every Control Warrior is going to play it hoping to snipe a combo piece anyway.
Strong stats and a big "deal with me or you're screwed" sticker on it. Seems pretty good to me!
