I like it because its practically support for an archetype I like, which is deathrattle dhunter. But will deathrattle dhunter even feature in the next meta? I mean its practically nonexistent since stormwind broke out.
Though the naga assassin is really strong, for a variety of reasons, I feel that its just too slow for aggro to use as an end game. Redundant in fel or quest dhunter too. But being a smaller Leeroy Jenkins may well be enough payoff that aggro decks would just slot it in, despite my personal misgivings.
Sounds ..awkward. Gotta see what the Demon Hunter Dredge cards are, but otherwise this is really slow and not even that well-statted to run in Deathrattle decks. Maybe if they yeet Inquisitor from the Core set this becommes the dedicated finisher
Decent removal and Deathrattle support! Depending on how good Dredge is going to be with Demon Hunter this could be stronger than expected!
The base minion has rush, so it has immidiate impact on the board. And on top of that it has a deathrattle that shuffles something good into your deck. I like it! This feels like something Deathrattle DH will run. I feel like this might replace the rotating Renowned Performer in deathrattle DH. Also DH is good at drawing cards, so even if dredge fails you probably get to this card fairly quickly. Of course DH could get an amazing dredge card as well, so that would make this card even better.
As for the shuffled card: 5 mana for a 5/3 with charge is already good, similarly to a Leeroy Jenkins AND on top of that, it deals 5 dmg to a enemy minion after it attacks. The shuffled card to me might be the reason to run dredge in DH, or Crushclaw Enforcer to try to tutor it out.
One thing that should be noted is that the shuffled card is a naga, which could have some additional synergy. We don't know what the core set is, but i wouldn't be surprised if N'Zoth, God of the Deep is in it. And this naga seems like a very good ress target IF N'zoth is in the core set.

I gotta say that I like it because the spawned card has Charge. Charge is something that has gone away for the most part in favor of Rush. The fact that DH is getting a Charge card is awesome
I'm optimistic about this minion purely coz the Sunken Defector has charge, and we all know how that mechanic is insane. Other than that, it's probably too slow and won't see play unless you really want to play a dredge DH deck
This guy's token will be a damn nice target for dredge, and the base minion doesn't look like too bad of a rush minion either.
Should be really good for Deathrattle Demon Hunter, as Rush is always welcome in that kind of deck. If Demon Hunter gets access to good Dredge effects, then this should get even better. Considering that Death Speaker Blackthorn exists, I can imagine a world where you run this card even if you don't have a way to dig up the Sunken copy.
I think it has some potential and is an interesting design, but the conditional-slow-Leeroy vibe is pretty clunky. They may have learn from previous mistake and preventively toned down any form of bursty face dmg ... but again, Mr. Smith - go figure
Fluffy Assassin was somewhat fitting too - just like the lich king, there must always be one ^^
One of the weaker sunken cards, of which many I have high hopes for. Still a strong card, but I don't see demon hunter being the best for Dredge synergies, only have one [expensive] Dredge card in Bone Glaive
With a Bone Glaive on the following turn to curve out, the Sunken Defectors are starting to look very scary.
It didn't seem amazing at first glance, but the more I think about it, the more I feel this card is actually really good. It can trade efficiently, the minion it puts at the bottom of the deck is really strong, and it can be played the turn before the 5/2 weapon that has Dredge. Cool stuff!
