This is basically the 2/3 Bilgewater Narwhal but without the vulnerable! It being Nightfall and elusive also helps level up Nocturne faster because Nightfall units have to attack for his level up. I hope that Targon gets a few more elusive units (but not enough to make an elusive deck) so that Targon can be used as a tech against elusives if they become too dominant. A 2/3 is also a pretty good blocker to elusives.
This card is also really good with all of the permanent buffs Targon has. Giving this a few gems or a Blessing of Targon makes this a real threat. Gems are also really good for triggering Nightfall, so the deck already has some natural synergy.
Extremely good even outside a Nightfall archetype. I'm sure they mainly wanted Targon to have a good Elusive blocker, but this is probably OP in a deck with other elusives and/or enough support.
I don't dislike the card, but I am a little bummed out that they are already making mild variations on other cards in other classes. One more mana and minus the Nightfall condition and you have a Piltover card, same thing can be said for the Crescent Guardian but instead its for a Noxus card.
