So, this deck uses parts of the control formula and adds in the new Invoke cards in order to create a flexible control deck with Aurelion as a finisher/win condition.
We try to get by Aurelions high mana cost by pulling him off Thresh.
The 4 Mana Invoke Spell lets you draw a discount Champ with +2/2, we here hope for a buffed Thresh, which is why Aurelion Sol is only a 2 of to increse the odds.

The deck plays pretty stait forward, try to stop the enemy from developing by removing dangers, get Invoke cards out to get high value Celestials.

I will now explain some more unordinary picks:

Messenger's Sigil: Gets you blockers that replace themselfes while also adding potential Celestial cards, synergy with Mountain Scryer discount, aswell as making The Skies Descend cheaper.

Haunted Relic: Cheap blockers and Thresh levelup enablers

Pale Cascade: Unexpected combattrick that replaces itself, very strong on Thresh

Mentor of the Stones: Very strong card overall, migth seem out of place but the grant 2/2 is great and very strong on Thresh. The Gems are nice combat tricks that we otherwise lack, aswell as discard targets for Spacey Sketcher

Mist Call: Revives Thresh or Celestial Powerunit

You will notice that Aurelion Sol doesn't enter flipped when drawn by Thresh most of the time, but the passive value he generates when on the board is great enough in itself to win alot of matchups. That's why we run the control survive package, similar to a Deep deck, once our early units force trades and our removal deals with the enemy gameplan, we likely outlast our opponent.
