The Rules

[quote from="Lab Description" class="riot"]

Build decks around specific constraints to receive powerful buffs! If your deck meets one of the following criteria, you'll gain a special ability:

  • All Even: If all cards in your deck have an even mana cost, grant allies +1|+0 each round!
  • All Odd: If all cards in your deck have an odd mana cost, grant allies +0|+1 each round!
  • No Followers: If your deck contains no followers, create a follower in hand when you cast your second spell each round!
  • All Common: If your deck contains only common cards, create champions in hand from Round 7 onward!

Notes:

  • All bonus effects are applied at the start of the round
  • If your deck qualifies for multiple buffs, you'll be automatically assigned just one.
  • You can opt to play a deck which doesn't qualify for any bonus -- your opponent will still have theirs
  • 0 mana cards are considered even
  • For "No Followers":
    • Your deck can contain champions and spells that create followers
    • The follower will be random with mana cost between 0 and your current maximum mana
    • You only receive a follower on the 2nd spell; subsequent spells have no effect until the next round
  • For "All Common", you will receive a random Level 2 champion at the start of the round comparable to [runecard]The Howling Abyss[/runecard]'s effect. Unlike the landmark, however, you can receive duplicates.

The Premade Decks

Here are the premade decks available to you. Honestly, they are all a little questionable -- the [runecard]Fiora[/runecard] + [runecard]Soraka[/runecard] "All Odds" seems the most reliable of the four.

Strategies

For the Even and Odd buffs, you'll want to get units out quickly since your buff will grow them every turn. Try to include a few cheap spells since it will be mathematically impossible not to float spell mana. For the Common/Random-Champ buff, you'll want to focus your early game on stall and board control. For the Followers buff, you'll want spells that generate followers and/or control the board -- also try to include some cheap options since you'll want to play 2 spells to get the free follower.
