Art is just out of theme entirely for Shaman. I feel like this got very deep in design before they swapped it from Mage to Shaman.
Should be enjoyable in shaman, RIP totem dreams!!!
Very nice support for Spell Shaman as well as a great card for Quest/Highlander Shaman.
On a side note, is anyone else kinda sad that all the summon animations this expansion all seem to be a swirly cloud of color and nothing exuberant like we have had the last couple of expansions?
OK, so I previously argued Diligent Notetaker didn't violate shaman's class identity weakness of card generation. Apparently I shouldn't have bothered because this was going to come along and throw it out of the window anyway.
Is the card good? It can be, but with a jack-of-all-trades class like shaman, there's just so many directions spells can go in that you cannot count on being offered something immediately useful.
It can be good for a burn Shaman
couple of Dwarven Archaeologists and so many discovers
If Shaman had good card draw it would be a good addition to a burn shaman to try to discover lightning bolts

Man, Echo repeatable this turn really stuck with Shaman.
It is not echo, you are not getting same spell... you get to discover again...
Yeah, I know. I watched the Video. It was a Joke about how the Effect was repeatable this Turn.
But I want Totemic Might and Totemic Surge
You laugh, but if they allowed 0 cost spells and someone chained together 15 Totemic Surges to OTK you with a Healing Totem on turn 3 you'd be pissed! LOL
Nah i i wouldn't be exactly exactly pissed... It would be a highlight though maybe not a good one but still... I suppose you would have to do this otks on turn 7+ with couple of Dwarven Archaeologist
Love the art and the effect seems so natural and clean. I can see this being a set favourite for me.
