  • Why does Druid get to do this and Hunter doesn't q.q

  • Oh boy! Janky Wild beast druid gets to curve this into Menagerie Warden!

  • Ancient of Lore cries.. why it's fine to draw 2 cards with this but not with 1 7 cost card? also this has better stats (Stealth>1 hp) and can't really be removed by most classes.

  • Not sure what druid deck wants this, but the card is very good. The problem is that druids can do much better for drawing a lot of card using their spell suite. Maybe with that beast recuiting card.

  • Card looked good on stream, but that game was absurdly high roll.  I think its too slow to be reliably run in any lists, but Big Druid does run out of gas and this could be a decent refill, especially with Guardian Animals.

  • Okay so it has stealth, making it super easy to trigger it's effect at least once. It also get's summoned by Guardian Animals, which gives it rush so you can draw immediately. Needless to say: OP AF. This will see play in EVERY druid deck in standard until it rotates, after which it will still see play in WILD. No joking. This card it NUTS. (Of course unless they print a better version of this card, which we can all agree we don't want to see.)

  • The only bad thing about this card is that it is 5 mana and you have to wait until next turn before you get any value, but that downside is negated by the fact that druid's can ramp, and it has stealth which basically guarantees it will give you value. Also, it has synergy with Animal Guardians.

  • This card is incredible, works well with early ramp and in most cases the draw effect will trigger (or tigger (?)

  • A nice way to start pushing beast Druid a lot more, though I do feel like if it sees play it’d be in some combo deck as a draw engine rather than an actual dedicated beast deck

    • Looks very powerful to me. You can put it on the board and then choose when you want to activate the card draw to some extent, since it can't be targeted.

  • A nice finisher/hand refill for some type of aggressive druid deck. I am so happy hunter didn't got this.

  • I think that's just an all-around great Card! You can probably put this into any Druid Deck and have it perform pretty well.

I wouldnt go as far to say "any" lists - that's too bold of a statement even after seeing all the cards. Replace "any" for "all" and you are on to something

  • Great when combo'd with Guardian Animals, just okay if not.

  • Stealth Druid, jk.

But this is strong since it will almost always make one attack, and that one attack will get very good value.

  • Insane card.

5/4 stats on a 5 drop are almost vanilla stats.

However, the effect is what pushes it to top tier for me.

    • The stealth on this body almost guarantees that this will always draw 2.
    • The body is also a soft taunt. No way the opponent will leave this up for more than a turn.
    • If the body sticks, the game snowballs since you get to draw 2 more the following turn.

This card looks like an auto include on any standard deck outside of maybe spell druid.

  • Guardian Animals fodder, little else.

What really made this card shit is not that its a bad card, but it features in a class that neither needs card draw or a stealth minion. Yes, this can be a good card with Embiggen and Survival of the Fittest, but in the former means you cant use this with guardian animals and the latter is so late in the game a stealth minion has no value.

Like, why wasn't this card a neutral or at least shared with hunter, so if nothing else, hunter will always run this because it somewhat guarantees 2 cards. As it stands, there's just very little reason for druid to want this card, especially since there's plenty other cards that at very least would have either rush, taunt, or the elusive tag, so they dont just die to aggro or priest.

  • Yup, Blizzard is desperately trying to make Jungle Giants work. This card is BONKERS in that deck. Not only does it curve well, but it's great after Barnabus the Stomper due to drawing cards. And also some nice synergy with both [Hearthstone Card (Menagerie Wanderer) Not Found] and Shan'do Wildclaw.

The only problem is that Druid in Wild is mostly focused on oh so infamous Jade Idol or reaching absurd amounts of Armor. I don't think Quest Druid will overtake both archetypes, but it certainly adds fuel.

In Standard, it's gonna be hard to slot this into any current Druid deck, but it's tempting due to card draw. This could be alright in Spell Druid to give you fuel, but the problem is that you'd rather play Glowfly Swarm on turn 5 instead of this, and it's a minion possible to discard through Fungal Fortunes, though that hasn't been much of a problem. And I don't know how this new Guardian Animals Druid will fare, because I don't know, I hate that I don't know, and I hate that human factor of not knowing.

    4/5

  • Strong card and it most likely will always draw you 2 cards too - very good!

  • The beast synergy on druid, preferably you want to cheat it out and rush him because at the vanilla state i think it's a lil' bit too slow.. cool art

  • On paper this minion is 1 health shy away from Stranglethorn tiger - both are 5 cost minions, both have 5 attack, both are beasts. However for 1 health less this minion will draw you two cards on the next turn if your opponent doesn't use an AOE to clear your whole board (and if they use an AOE to kill 1 minion you're winning).

Back in ONiK when Beast Hunter was a new archetype the deck lent itself to a tempo/midrange deck that wanted to play efficient minions on curve and then make them stronger with Mark of Y'Sharaj or duplicate them with Menagerie Warden. Like most Tempo and Midrange decks it suffered from a lack of card draw (Mark of Y'sharaj did draw a card and so did Wrath, but oustide of those two I don't remember much draw in the deck).

So a minion with stealth that should be able to draw you two cards is a huge must include in any Druid deck that wants to run beasts in a midrange deck.

With the new spell Animale Guardians you'll be able to summon this minion and give it rush, allowing you to activate it's draw effect the turn it hits the board. combine with embiggen and you'll be able to summon a 7/6 with rush that draws 2 cards

  • That's one powerful draw engine, damn!

Whether or not beast druid works remains to be seen, this will depend on it. Can druid even return to aggro/midrange?
Some niche use also exists as draw in a combo deck.

  • The "draw 2" is soo strong that turn this card from an average card to an extremly powerfull card. Can be used with Guardian Animals but its strength concerns the possibility to deny the card disadvantage due to ramp

  • Guessing any minion based druid deck will run two of this aside from maybe dragon druid.

  • I can see this as an auto include in Druid.

  • Just an amazing card

  • This is going to be very used

  • Just overall a great card. It's effect activating before it attacks helps it alot to guaranteed to draw.

  • This seems powerful in Embiggen Druid. A great pull from Strength in Numbers and the stealth is nasty with the Embiggen buff. Note you can't run Guardian Animals in Embiggen Druid reliably as you can't pull 5 mana beasts with it post Embiggen. I think the archetype ultimately is overshadowed by Spell Druid and the potential archetypes of Malygos Druid and Token Druid, but having this will help boost the archetype's power level.

  • better than azur drake

  • Stranglethorn Tiger Card Image cooler little brother. He can die from Flamestrike though.

  • I think this will be great in a lot of Druid decks.

  • Interesting looking card, I’m looking forward to having a tinker and seeing if a viable beast Druid deck can exist.

  • Meh stats but really good effect

  • Better than unnerfed [Hearthstone Card (Ancient of Lore) Not Found]. Awesome card.

  • This card is absolutely nuts and will carry the "medium-sized-beast" druid archetype on its own

  • This card seems ridiculously good both when played from hand or when cheated out via something like Guardian Animals. I expect this to see a solid amount of experimentation since you can almost always guarantee the card draw.

  • Definitely looks like a strong one. All but guaranteed card draw on a decent-sized stick. Gives hope of more varied Druid archetypes instead of just different Spell builds.

  • One of the most OP cards of the expansion

  • AnonymousUser's Avatar

The stealth allows you to get atleast 2 card draw.

Ok card for a midrange beastdruid.

  • Can't be spot removed, trade for a minion of similar size, nets you 2 cards, great overall. If it sticks around for another turn, it's pure value. Went to Druid because Hunter would abuse the crap out of it.

  • If Guardian Animals summon 2 Twilight Runner you can easily draw 4 cards.

    Very strong imho

  • This card will see play with Guardian Animals

  • Card draw?  In Druid?!?!  Since when?!??!!??!  Oh yeah, always!  5 stars.

  • This is one way to push the beast druid deck. Definitely better than Overflow and will prob be run in most decks purely for the draw

  • This is insanely good. If Druid is at all good this expansion, this card will be the first to be looked at for a nerf. It just does so much with so little risk.

  • Very strong card. Worst case scenario it's two cards for one, with a minion trade on top of it. If that wasn't enough, it has Beast synergy as well!
