Unfinished Arenarun - no new one.

Well, as the title said:had an unfinished Arenarun, which is now still open. Anyone experiencing the same? 

Yep. Hoping they fix this. It has always been a reset before, we were rightfully expecting another. 

I was able to start a run today before the expansion release, while normally they would close Arena by that point. So maybe they really cancelled the resets. Oh, and I was not able to play more than one game, because EU arena matchmaking is broken. Maybe they just don't give a damn about arena anymore

I think it is because your old decks are still legal in the current arena rotation. The reason they had to end runs before (and hence give out arena tickets) was because the pool of cards changed such that old decks did not use cards available in the new pool.

In past years when Arena was just Standard like it is now, there were not Arena resets just for one new set being introduced.  In fact, way way back they used to never reset.  I remember watching Kripp get on Twitch and a stream sniper would queue into him with a deck that contained old, powerful Wild cards that should not have been legal anymore.  This happened because those snipers liked to hold high power level decks and wait to try and queue into streamers to get easy wins.  Things like that are the only reason they started doing resets at rotations.

While I personally was not expecting a reset I also had a run started.  But I was able to do so with an Arena ticket from the pre-purchase bundle so it cost me nothing to do so.

The only reason you should expect an Arena reset is if the card pool is seeing massive changes.  A few examples would be the start of a new Standard year with three sets rotating to Wild, a special Arena event like the Dual Class Arena we tend to see around the Hallow's End event, or if they go back to the Standard/Wild Limited mix like we saw all of last year, when they were changing the card pool for Arena every two months.
