Note that it's Targon, not Ionia.
Works great with the support cards from both regions, though, and perfect vanilla stats to begin with.

Good catch.
It's a big peculiar that the decided to announce it along with Lulu--buffing it with either Pix or Lulu is nice but hardly game-winning. Honestly, I think Stomper is going to like buffs from Mentor of the Stones, Mountain Sojourners, and even Tyari the Traveler much more given that those are all permanent versus the Ionia ones so far all expire at end-of-turn.

At 2 mana? What did you have in mind?
I can think of some that are about as good, but the best 2-mana support targets have weak bodies that are less likely than Stomper to make it into combat in the first place.

Tbh 1 cost unit into 2 mana support just flows better than the 3 mana support plan (which currently it's the 3 gems guy or lulu), but in general I prefer challengers due to their ability to protect the support unit, probably underestimating the overwhelm keyword just like with the epic card..
2-3 is a decent statline with a good key-word probably will see some play.
Solid card, I'm giving it 4 stars. We have a good support target for early game here.
