I think this is great personally, I'd love to see Ruinterra tackle all these mtg staple mechanics.
Just by having them take a place on the board already makes them far more balanced
Hopefully we don't get any mana cheating like fires of inventions because that killed standard for everyone.

I think that it'd be cool if the Landmarks were a little more interactable by the opponent. Like maybe the Landmarks have a "Durability" and whenever your Nexus takes damage they lose 1 Durability. That way they could make Landmarks more or less durable depending on how long their effect should last, and people can play cards like The Leviathan to destroy enemy Landmarks.
I dunno how i feel about Landmarks.
Seems like a cheap Warmother's Call type of effect with a downside that takes one board space.
As long the effect is not overturned given its mana cost, i think it will be ok.
