  • Hard to see this being very good. Highroll potential for sure, but plenty of whiffs too.

  • Summon a 7-cost Minion on turn 6 and paying only 4 Mana... Could be playable

  • I don't think this will see play given it's inherent lack of synergy with existing Priest archetypes. Decent in something like a Fortune Tellerdeck that could take shape, but it doesn't seem that great currently.

  • That is ridiculous. You hold onto it for a turn that you could realistically cast a 6 cost minion... and get a 7 cost minion for a substantially discounted rate?  Thankfully it's totally RNG and not Discover.  That would have made this broken..

  • Turn 6 7 drop i guess? Lemme check 7 drops real quick....

Best pulls in standard are: Keymaster Alabaster, Skeletal Dragon and Evasive Drakonid.

Best pulls (including the standard cards) in wild are: Confessor Paletress and Prophet Velen.

Worst pulls in standard are: Barrens Stablehand, Silas Darkmoon and Chef Nomi.

Worst pulls (including the standard cards) in wild are: Azalina Soulthief, Corridor Creeper and Darkmire Moonkin

Situationally bad or good cards: Baron Geddon and in wild: Chillmaw.

Seems like a really situational card, but i feel like it's going to be a must-include in Y'Shaarj, the Defiler decks because of the free 7 drops. Also in priest it's very easy to corrupt this, as priest generally has multiple big removal spells or they have Galakrond in hand, ready to be played on turn 7. (And the obvious turn 5 Convincing Infiltrator) Now that i think about it, Auspicious Spirits reminds me a lot of Free From Amber, which was often a must include back when it was in standard. Sure Auspicious Spirits summons a random 7 drop instead of a discovered 8 drop, but at least Auspicious Spirits can be played multiple times from Y'Shaarj, the Defiler.

Standard: Control, Y'Shaarj, the Defiler & Galakrond Priest will run it.

Wild: Not sure if it's that good. Ress/Big priest doesn't want this as it's too inconsistant, but i feel like Raza priest might experiment with it at the very least. But i feel like they will drop the card after a few days and pretent it doesn't exist.

  • Obviously, summoning a 7-cost minion for 4 mana is incredible value. The question is whether or not you are running enough 5+ cost cards to justify this, and still want a beefy minion. If you are playing a slow control deck, then getting one good tempo play isn't going to do a whole lot to progress your game plan. And if you are playing an aggro deck, your curve will probably be too low. So is there going to be a strong mid-range priest deck that will be able to corrupt this consistently and maximize use of this powerful tempo play? I don't know.

  • I don't think that priests can afford to run a card that is this unreliable. It can win games, but no earlier than turn 6 and the effect is very unreliable.

    • I don't think this is worse, of course you don't choose, but also you are paying 4 for this.

7 cost Minion are usually good ones, and priest doesn't care about playing slow cards. I think that can see play on a hard spell deck.

     And don't forget Y'shaarj synergy.

  • Does potentially getting a 7-drop out one turn earlier than you should make up for the potential lowroll on the said 7-drop? For me personally, it doesn't.

  • I'm not feeling this one.

4 mana for a random 4-drop is quite bad. Just play a 4-drop instead.

When Corrupted, 4 mana for a random 7-Cost minion isn't bad, but it's reliant on randomness and not all 7-Cost minions are good pulls.

  • Y’shaarj makes this card obnoxious already. Priest did not need more value generation...

  • This card isn't terribly exciting but it will be good with the new Old God Card.

  • 7 drop stat suck, they always did.. they are not even worth the 4 mana.. the corrupt makes it too slow since it's a minimum turn 5 play with coin..

  • Arena card, or generated by card, you never hard run this in constructed...

  • A (7) drop is quite a lot of value for (4) mana ..!
Corruption is getting better and better ; hype!!

  • I think the true value of this card comes apparent if you think of it as: Turn 8, summon two 7 Cost minions.

  • More RNG, yay... it's still value purely coz of Y'Shaarj, the Defiler and with Palm Reading this would cost 3 mana. So it's viable

  • 4 mana 7/7 meme for priest lol

Very strong tempo play if is corrupted

  • There's already a good 5 mana card that almost always gets played on curve for priest, and that's Cobalt Spellkin. So you play spellkin on 5, this on 6 along with the generated spells.

Good tempo, plus whatever else you play with the leftover 2 mana. Seems legit.

Even on its own, its still a 4 drop. And assuming you didn't get a knock on the head when you choose, its usually going to have at least 4/4 stats, which is decent considering that priest rarely plays anything on curve at 4 anyway.

  • I don't think this will be played uncorrupted much mostly because then it's just a 4 summon a random 4 but at the same time I don't think there will be much use out of it corrupted either since random 7 drops arent really the best thing ever.

  • It's basically worth it's cost when corrupted and being played on turn 6. The main issue with Auspicious Spirits is that the impact of the corrupt benefit falls off a cliff after turn 6. On top of that, 7-drops aren't a great pool of minions to be randomly generating from currently.

  • Arena fodder. You get more value in galakrond priest already without it.

  • So how about you just... run a 4 drop then?  Not bad off of random, but you wont see people just putting this in their deck.

  • Good enough to see some play I think, but probably not in constructed.

  • Not good without corrupt, and that brings it online too slow.

  • Easy to level and great effect, on the off side.... rng

  • Garbage. Random cards are worse than cards you put into your deck. you'd rather just put that card in than hope you get luck for a small mana decrease with this.

  • Printed to work as corrupted, uncorrupted is too bad.

  • Don't run this card; just generate it randomly and then corrupt it with your better cards.

  • I guess if you're running a Y'Shaarj Priest then this finds its way into it, but the sheer randomness of the card makes me doubt it'll see play anywhere else. It's especially terrible un-Corrupted, so you definitely need to be waiting on it, and at that point why aren't you just running a 6 or 7 drop?

  • The kind of card I hope priest plays: bad.

  • Decent without being corrupted, amazing after you do so

  • Four mana for a random seven drop might be ok. I would really need to look at the available pool to see what the high roll, low roll, and average roll would be.

  • This is just a bad card. I guess that getting a random 7-drop for 4 mana could be pretty good, but I don't think you seriously want to run this in any deck when there are just better things to do with your mana.
