  • Could see experimentation in highlander hunter against a midrange meta

  • Viable, effective and sticky enough with its 5 health - could see play

  • I don't think this will get run in Standard since it doesn't have inherent synergy with things, but it seems like a strong card in arena.

  • 2 mana 1/5 is now my favorite stat-line. Getting a 1/5 with poisonous is pretty cool, and it isn't that hard to corrupt a 2-cost card. I wouldn't be surprised if this was played in a lot of mid-range hunter decks moving forward.

  • Very hard to evaluate. Poisonous minions haven't seen a lot of play in the past, but this one's statline is very annoying to deal with.

    • really nice stats but idk how often this will be played

  • Seems like an interesting card that is hard to remove. But it's more of a control hunter card. And "control" and "hunter" don't go together well.

Standard: I dont think this will see play. Maybe experimentation at least.

    Wild: Hunter and wild? lol.

  • 1/5, I don't see this anywhere, it will even be a weird pick in arena

Well In arena poisonous matters a lot, so I can see it in arena, but in constructed yeah you have better way to get removal

  • 1/5 statline is pretty good for Poisonous minions, although if you want something to be guaranteed Poisonous, it might just be better to run Primordial Explorer instead. That said, it's a good target for buffs.

  • This is going to be an issue in a lot of ways.  Playing a 3+ card while it is in your hand, not hard to get a 1/5 poison minion for 2 is really good

  • Another cheap dude to splash in Highlander Hunter. The corrupt requirement is also very easy to accomplish.

  • If beast hunter needed a nice powerful 2 drop that can at least stay alive until turn 3, then this card fits that description.

The corrupt value is only a nice little bonus. And I do mean little. This is one case where dropping this on curve is leagues away from getting value from the corruption.

  • Low cost and high health make this seem enticing, but will it really be good? Trogg Gloomeater was not really played, nor was Venomancer.

  • turn 4 or so poisonous 1/5 seems great on paper but who knows how it will actually play out.

  • Even when corrupted, this feels worse than Primordial Explorer. Dancing Cobra works against itself as the higher health on a poisonous minion is relevant early in the game, but the effect of poisonous itself isn't relevant in the early game.

  • Too little too late imo, but definitely a very good Arena card

  • Good card but seems wasted on hunter.

The stat line and effect leans on defense which contradicts usually Hunter game plan. That may find a place in a slower meta, maybe if mid-range deathrattle hunter becomes a thing.

  • Love the art, pity those won't see play :( hoping I'm wrong

  • Good stats and with poisonous is very sticky. Easy to corrupt. Strong card

  • Arena card.

  • Control highlander hunter may want it. Otherwise I don't think it will see play at all.

  • What happens when discovered with Deathstalker Rexxar's hero power regarding the Corrupt feature?

  • I don't see this being run in Standard unless we get some good beast buffs in upcoming expansions. If there's a Crackling Razormaw type card around, this card suddenly gets a LOT better.

  • While the card seems quite good as a beast, there isn't really a spot for it right now in hunter decks, and I don't really see that changing. Probably won't see play.

  • I love this minion for the statline alone - 2 mana 1/5 is such a neat combination, and we got two this expansion! Don't know that it'll see play due to an atypically nonaggressive statline for a Hunter card, but I love it just the same.

  • Trash card. Nothing more than pack filler or fringe arena play.

  • The snail also got taunt :(

  • if you manage to get it upgraded it looks amazing, even if you dont it's still a 2 mana 1/5  beast which can be buffed

  • This is pretty good corrupted but not useful if it isn't.

  • Hmm, getting down a 1/5 poisonous along with another minion might be good, as that is a pretty tanky body already.

  • OK stats. I'm not sure the Poisonous from Corrupt means anything (Emperor Cobra is in how many Hunter decks?), but it is very hard to kill with trades, especially in the early game. I don't think this is worth running in Hunter.

Corrupted cards that costs 3 or less are really easy to corrupt, but that card looks weak without rush.

  • A 2 mana 1/5 beast is already a very fair statline, and this is so easy to corrupt! A 5 health poisonous minion likely gets to trade for 2 cards. Be it 2 minions, a minion and a spell, or 2 spells. Not a lot of spells can deal 5 to a single minion at once. And if a spell does kill it at once, you're still pretty happy. Not sure what deck this would fit in though, most likely in highlander hunter

  • 1/5 is a sticky body for 2 mana. If you manage to corrupt it can be one of the best drops you can have in early turns.

  • Strong when corrupted due to the high health, but nothing special otherwise

  • Ithink this will be one of the more regularly played corrupt cards. It should be able to come out soon enough to still matter and is still ok vanilla if you have beast buffs available to you.
