They probably didn't want to bring back Overkill since this would literally be the only card in standard with that keyword, making it kind of pointless as a keyword.

I do agree though that it would be kind of cool if they brought back keywords from older expansions every now and then.

Maybe sees play? 5 mana 5/5 Rush isn't great for only a potential upside. Buff Hunter might have enough fuel to make it work, but I have a hard time seeing it be that strong.

Hey it's a OVERKILL card. Also this is kinda similar to our great meme monkey Knuckles. Buffing Trampling Rhino will be easy though, and in the reveal stream they said that during internal testing it is/was generally around 8/8 of stats. (I know internal testing, sounds kinda weird with the amount of broken cards released previous expansion... maybe they just started doing it?) Also Trampling Rhino is 5 mana, meaning it can be tutored with Guardian Animals.

Standard: Trampling Rhino will see play in some kind of Beast Aggro Druid, and i'm pretty sure someone is going to use these to make a OTK Hunter deck. (With Beastmaster Leoroxx.) Won't be a good OTK, but we will see some video's/clips of it.

Wild: Hunter in wild is a joke, and so is this card. If you wanna go for the memes, don't go for Trampling Rhino. Instead use our boy Knuckles. It's easy: first we cast Dire Frenzy on Knuckles, and then weGuardian Animals to summon them and go monkeh all over their FACE.

I get the argument of "a lot of keywords confuses players". But that's what the freaking bubble that shows up when a keyword card is highlighted is for: ending confusion. The insane amount of cards that recycles old expansion keywords without using said keywords is pretty big these days and it becomes almost insulting to play us for fools with stuff like this.

Now, after the rant is over, I can see this card being slotted in Highlander Hunter. In fact, the midrange-y nature of the card and of the deck makes me think it's a match made in heaven.

I love this card, but have come to grips that until the next rotation this would probably not see any play.

Its just a decent card that sometimes deal damage to the face. But because it interferes with the polkelt synergy with Dinotamer Brann into Dragonbane the next turn, I can't see why this card will get included.

Maybe beast hunter? But that deck has yet to prove itself. There's a chance. But admitably as small as the end of a sewing needle.

5 Mana 5-5 Rush alone is quite good.

I don't know into what kind of Deck it could fit rn though. Maybe some aggressive Midrange Hunter? Or maybe it's gonna be another Addition to Highlander.

Pretty average.  Although if hand buff is going to be good, or pre-attack buff works, then it could be beneficial

Decent card overkill effect is a fine addition works well with those handbuff cards we've seen

It's possible this sees play alongside Augmented Porcupine and other minion buffs like Scavenger's Ingenuity. I remain sceptical...

I think that, in practice, the excess damage on its own isn't going to translate to much face damage, and Hunter isn't doing a lot of buffing in hand or on board with the exceptions of Adorable Infestation and Scavenger's Ingenuity. Overall, Trampling Rhino compares unfavorably to similar options like Rotnest Drake or Krolusk Barkstripper.

This is only the second Trample card of HS, right?

Beyond everything else, I just love the blatant and direct reference to Trample from MtG. I love when they just unashamedly embrace the influences they've had from other games.

Good to see Trample find it's way into Hearthstone. I don't think this card is very good, but this text will be sued more again, possibly next expansion.

"decent" stats for a 5/5, not that decent for what it wants to do

5/5 on the naming choice. 

Unique design, but I don't think it has enough stats to be worth it.  You generally only overkill for like 1 or 2, but then you are left at lower health.  I just don't like it that much.

That rhino certainly looks ferocious. It is an okay card too.

Looks cooler than it is. 

Looking forward to seeing the Combos play out on Trolden!

Seems good, especially considering the way Hunter is leaning more towards a face strategy. Works exceptionally well with Scaveneger’s Ingenuity 

Love this for more face hunter nonsense. There is almost always going to be something small enough on board to get some kind of payoff on the effect.

Hunter can handbuff it to get a good body with rush and sweet remove+facedmg effect.

Don't underestimate it.

Good card if buffed, but not sure if it's good enough to earn a spot in most decks

It passes the vanilla test, but I worry if it's too expensive and niche for most Hunter archetypes. Face Hunter likely won't want this, as it ruins their ability to immediately draw Dragonbane from Lorekeeper Polkelt. Maybe it's just solid enough stats that Highlander Hunter doesn't mind running it?
