So, I'm assuming it no longer bonks your max health to 15...it now gains you 5 in fact. Is the hero power the same?
HP is same
Hp is not 15 anymore else would say it as is a HERO CARD now, 15 hp was because he was a 15hp minion.
Well, that's disappointing. Hope he gets used, at least!
Better call Thrall!
I think this will see play if Hero Power is unchanged.
6/6 for 2 mana is very strong.
Looking over the new core set, there's far less value than we normally have, and there are basically no infinite value generators, which makes this potentially the strongest control card in the meta. For 9 mana, you're getting a 6-mana-value weapon, 1 mana worth of armor, and 4 surplus mana of value per turn (2 mana for a 5 mana body and 1 mana pseudo-card-draw whenever you press the button). Seems really dang good.
It still may be a smidgen too slow at 9 mana, but the health change is big enough that it may see play.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I hope they still give this card the same "wow" factor. I remember the first time I saw someone play Jaraxxus. Watching him hit the board, then rise up and literally crush my opponent while announcing he was my enemy now... that was a big moment.
They need to give him a new animation on par with that. They really have to capture the idea of summoning a powerful demon that literally kills who you're supposed to be playing against and hijacks the fight.
A man is lying on the street, some punks chopped off his head
I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
This is a crazy strong card in Standard, but I don’t know if it will be run as the meta is already lightning fast and with Tickatus in rotation, Warlock does not need a slower and more unreliable control win-condition. However, I am excited for the deck-building opportunities this card will open, or at least to see Jaraxxus in play.
This ain't no place for a hero
This was the first golden legendary I pulled and I never wanted to be rid of him... and now I am ever so much happier that I didn't
Oh boy, time to save the Oozes again for the late game. Really really happy about the 15 life change.
I think this will see more play because of the huge liking Jaraxxus gets from lots of players. If the Hero Power is still the Same this will even see more play in almost every control-ish Warlock list.
Gain 5 Armor and a 3/8 Weapon could be good on it`s own tough.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Lord Jaraxxus has been sad, he wasn't seeing any play and people called him a meme. One day he came across Deathstalker Rexxar and was amazed. How could 1 (hero) card turn an aggro deck into a control/value deck on it's own? Lord Jaraxxus then went under Deathstalker Rexxars tutorship and now came back as an actual hero card, that can turn a control deck into an aggro deck. Now he is ready for his revenge.
Okay Lord Jaraxxus seems really powerful and can turn control decks into a more aggro playstyle with the infinite amounts of 6/6 minions the hero power generates, and he still has that good weapon. I think Lord Jaraxxus will 100% see play, it's too good to not see any play.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
