Howto: Win-5-Ranked Weekly Quest twice

I get those Battlegrounds weeklys quite often (made a posting in the salt thread already). Because of that and the rerolls I have a single weekly quest open in the midweek quite often. Now I noticed that:

-if I've done the weekly "Win 5 ranked" and another weekly quest 

-and there is a single weekly quest in the left most slot

-and i than press reroll on that quest 

=> I get the ranked quest again!

Maybe a coincidence, but happend two times in a row. So i decided to make the thread, whether other users can confirm. By this way you could get a little bit XP extra, because it is 2,5K for the ranked vs. 1,75K for the others. 

Wow, now this looks interesting. Never tried because I always complete my 5 ranked wins quest as last. Good catch, definitely gonna try that, and make an edit, if it worked for me. Thanks!

EDIT: Okay, just tried to reroll my last remaining Weekly quest right after completing the Win 5 ranked games and I got another one! So I can confirm this works. Thanks again for pointing this out aposteljoe, appreciated :)

This also worked once for me this week. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it “confirmed” but that is three separate people. I wonder if this will be considered a bug and they’ll fix it later, or if it’s intended.

Wow - just did this and it worked for me as well! This is neat a little trick, but it really seems like it shouldn't work. I imagine one of these days Blizzard will remove this.

I hope I will be able to confirm it myself tomorrow as well. My weeklies did not pair up well to make the attempt today, so I had to reroll 1 before completing the 'win 5 ranked' weekly quest.

Seems indeed like it was not done on purpose and it will most probably fixed soon. I would not mind to abuse it at least once though, before it goes away.

So it looks like the effect is confirmed. As others mentioned I guess this is unintentional and will most likely be fixed some time. But we don't have to tell them ;)

I wonder if this works with two open quests and you reroll the left one?

Can confirm it works if you have two open weekly quests. Even better, afterwards it still works with only one!

worked for me too thanks! also maybe it isnt a bug but a feature? it will make the level 100 grind way easier, especially because you can do it with two quests!( acording to JFK dont quote me on this!XD).

Worked like a charm.

I ended up with 3 weekly ranked quests just by rerolling without paying much attention to their order or placement (although I believe it started with the rightmost one at first, and then the mid one the following day). It looks like they not only marked it to be in the reroll pool with all the other quests, but somehow greatly increased the chances of it appearing. 

Poor people trying to avoid it, could prove nigh impossible for now. But nice little bonus for all the rest. We do know it's a confirmed bug though, so only a matter of time before a hotfix or patch comes in. 

I ended up with 3 weekly ranked quest this week. I believe it still work even with the hotfix. And this is better than waiting for those rare daily quest. Because this week, I just got 1500 xp more than the usual.

this will be fixed tomorrow :( run to get those five win today guys !

jk, it was clear that this was not intended...

Whelp thankfully got to try it out today which netted me 2 of the quests. I'll try to get it one last time tomorrow before the patch hits.

A bug? This is no bug blizz. If it is, its made of chocolate and readily eaten by players.

Well, for those still hungry for that extra 750xp, better start rerolling today.

Aww too bad I didn´t see this yesterday, I wanted to complete my first win 5 quest today and reroll it. Sigh, now I´ll have one less reroll. Typical Blizz, if players love something they´ve messed up, they will fix it immediatelly, but if it annoys us, they have plenty of time fixing it..

Yea well that was essentially 50 bonus gold per week. 
But let’s be honest, we liked it because of the free stuff, nothing else. Gameplay wise I much prefer getting pushed into other modes by the weekly quests.

+ it‘s a pain for people that actually try to avoid this quest

Will you even be able to get 2500 weekly quest? I thought it was impossible earlier and got suprised,when I rerolled my 1750 quest into 2500 one at beginning of April. Got 2 weeks 3x 2500,so not going to complain.

of course you can, before the patch hits you complete  one 5 win quest, and then, reroll the one in the same slot of the quest you just did! it worked everytime for me and also work with the third one too after you did the 5 win the second time.

Looks I was not precise with my question.

Now when you reroll weekly quest after completing 2500 xp quest you always get 2500 xp one.

After they fix it will it even be possible to reroll 1750 xp quest into 2500 xp assuming that you have completed 2500 xp first?

no it will not.

T'was fun while it lasted. I managed to reroll my last weekly quest into a third Win 5 Ranked games earlier this morning.
