BOth Beast and Taunt support yet still no efficient draw to make said decks actually playable.
Looks like something we'll get more payoff for as more expansions come out.
Oh well, at least Gonk OTK in Wild gets more support :^)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Seems like a decent card. Even if you don't have a beast in hand, a 3 mana 4/3 taunt is not too shabby to put into the board.
The main set had support for both taunt and beast druid. None of those packages have proven to be particularly strong and I don't think this card is going to change that. But I would love to be wrong. In a vacuum the card itself looks very strong. A 2 mana discount on a beast is not nothing.
Also more powercreep on Hired Gun after Fairground Fool.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Seems decent. Fangbound Druid has a deathrattle AND taunt, so it's exactly the kind of minion you want to play alongside Plaguemaw the Rotting. But the big problem for the card is card draw, which is something Druid doesn't have that much off. Oh and it's only good if you have a beast in your hand, considering you want the discount.
Considering you want the effect if you include this into your deck, then it might fit into Guardian Animals Druid? The most popular version of that kind of deck is Primordial Druid, which doesn't seem like it wants to include it?
The other deck it MIGHT fit in is some kind of Deviate Dreadfang deck, which probably would work similarly to the Exotic Mountseller did before Exotic Mountseller rotated.
Oh and for wild: Probably see play. I dont think this sees this play in the upcoming Celestial Alignment Druid, OTK Druid or Token Druid. The only deck that might experiment with it is Wall Druid, because Fangbound Druid Discounts Hadronox.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
It's not good, but I really love it. The grindy taunt/beast druid deck can use this to discount hadronox in order to fit it in the same turn as all kinds of copying and deathrattle-triggering effects. I doubt it sees serious play, but it's definitely a fun card.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Mana discounts are always useful. I am sure he'll find play somewhere but I don't think he's strong enough for both Taunt and beast decks to want him. The discount is his strong point so a big beast/ramp deck will probably pick him up.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
Really solid value, but I don't really see what deck this supports right now. If it shores up Taunt Druid, I'm cool with that.

Looks alright. Even if you don't get the discount, 3-mana 4/3 Taunt is decent. Of course it will really shine if you manage to hit a big beast with the discount.
A 3 drop with vanilla stats that basically reduces another minion's cost by 2. That's nice value and a body to boot.
Obviously the card you're looking to reduce would be Deviate Dreadfang, but there are other targets like Druid of the Plains or just plain Twilight Runner. All are good targets.
The problem? Well, that's the thing about druid cards. Its just never really going to see play unless its broken, and this one is strong, but not broken. And therefore is unlikely to see play because token and clown druid are simply better decks. Put in celestial druid and the question would be: why are we playing this again?
Looks solid. Decent Stats and could work to cheat out bigger Minions like the new 4/9 for example.
Decent Card overall.

Nice beast and taunt support, but still quite lackluster, think we need more support, but this card is heading in the right direction - more mana cheating, yay!
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
I can see it in a cheap midrange druid, great on curve.
You have to play this with the new 8 drop in hand, right? I suppose there may be some other big beasts out there, but most of them aren't being played right now. I suppose the rush/frenzy minion would also be a decent hit.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
This card is the one I'm most excited to play with in Druid. Would love for Taunt Druid to make a comeback.
I want Taunt Druid to be a thing, but I'm not sure if this does enough to make it happen
