I'm assuming the weapon does something useful other than being a statstick?
Either way, this just seems like great value for Control Warrior and encourages a N'zoth package. Question is, is Venomous Scorpid still good enough to be run alongside it?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This card is kind of nutty right. It just does so much. Nzoth synergy, Saurfang synergy, very easy to proc the frenzy and 8 lifegain is a lot, 2/5 weapon is a lot of swings. curves into saurfang too and warriors dont have any meaningful 6 cost things i dont think. You can sword eater swing, swing, then play this and swing five more times.
Well apparently it really is just a vanilla weapon, so that's a bit disappointing. Control Warrior has better weapons both for damage and utility so they'll probably just overwrite the spike as soon as they can.
Also interferes with Bulwark which might honestly kill the card for Control.

VERY good for control warrior actually. You can buff it with Ringmaster's Baton, ressurect it with Overlord Saurfang AND N'Zoth, God of the Deep. Warrior also had some trouble staying alive, and Kresh, Lord of Turtling helps out by giving you a lot of armor. Finally a really good frenzy card! (And even better, it's EVEN costed so ODD warrior can't use it! ODD Warrior with Kresh, Lord of Turtling could have been annoying.) Also that 2/5 weapon isn't that bad, can help you trade into some stuff i guess. Most control Warrior will probably get rid of it pretty fast though.
Kresh, Lord of Turtling seems pretty good, but i do have to agree that it's often quite slow. Kinda wish it had taunt, but that might make Kresh, Lord of Turtling WAY too good.
Standard: N'Zoth, God of the Deep Control Warrior and normal Control Warrior will use Kresh, Lord of Turtling.
Wild: Not sure in what kind of deck it will fit. EVEN costed luckely so maybe EVEN Warrior will use it? Even though that deck sounds like a meme deck. Honestly i'm glad it doesn't see play in ODD warrior. However i feel like some warrior decks with N'Zoth, the Corruptor might try it out. Maybe it can fit in Dead mans hand warrior? probably not.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
It does a lot of stuff, but I don't know if any deck can slot it in. The armour and the weapon are nice, but it doesn't really help on the board when it enters play. Dead man's hand can't really afford to run a card that is so poor against aggro, and no other deck wants a card this slow.
This post is discussing the wild format.
This card is nuts! Gets resurrected by Saurfang and N'zoth. This card will make the Menagerie Warrior real.
This has a lot of stuff going on, but it looks great for Control Warrior!
I gave it 3, then read these comments and am going up to 4. I think I'm most impressed by the amount of charges on that spike. Has Warrior ever had a 5 durability weapon (not quite counting Gorehowl, of course)?

You cannot. Ringmaster's Baton does not buff Beasts.
Arena > Wild > Standard
I really hope this card makes Overlord Saurfang playable. Either both see play or neither of them. With the body, the weapon, and the armor you get a lot out of just a single card. I feel like the armor gain is going to be the most important aspect of this card. Getting 8 armor twice can go a long way.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Seems fun. Would fit well in a N'zoth and Saurfang Warrior. Not sure it's enough but in the right direction for sure. Can't wait to test this one out.

This is just an insane legendary for any warrior archetype, except perhaps control and even then its would still work.
Even if your opponent can deny the armor, let's not forget that you're gifted with a weapon that can hit for 10 over 5 turns. Yes, that's not really alot, but it does come with such a massive body and potentially 8 armor to boot.
Forget the nzoth potential, I'd stick this in rush warrior or any warrior any day.
Seems pretty good. 8 armor is quite a lot to gain with one card, even if a 2-attack weapon with no other effect is pretty weak.
Very good card for Control Warrior, and a great resurrect target for Overlord Saurfang. The beast tag also makes it a nice target for N'Zoth, God of the Deep, and that frenzy effect ensures it'll gain you 8 armor whenever it trades (unless it's killed by hard removal). This is just the card that Saurfang needs to see play in the meta, and hopefully this pushes Control Warrior into viability. I'm excited to play this card in a grindy deck.
Well this one is pretty darn good i would say. Synergy with Saurfang and N'Zoth and therefor will give you lots of armor.
I like it.
