Meh, seems under powered compared to other healing cards. I really can't imagine any deck ever wanting this card. Maybe control warlock if they are every desperate for healing? But they have the soul fragment cards and armor vendor which work better. So yeah, this will never be played.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Probably sees play in Controlock if nothing else, but I'm trying to think of how much healing you need to do for it to be worth it. Probably 6 or more? The fact that it's only your hero does also limit it's use, since you can't heal up a big taunt after a trade.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Definitely needs support to be revealed in upcoming cards. A neutral heal for a hand-mage deck I've always tinkered with in wild is a welcome addition, though.
Now you kids are probably saying to yourselves, "Hey Matt, how can we get back on the right track?"
Solid healing. If you have 8 cards in hand its a cheaper Antique Healbot, and it's better with more cards in hand. Controllock will 100% use it, and questlock as well, just to heal up after doing some self damage for The Demon Seed. Sure warlock has Armor Vendor and Soul Fragments, but armor vender only gives 4 health and soul fragments aren't that reliable. Spice Bread Baker can give you reliable healing.
But hey maybe other control decks might slot 1 copy in at least, just to recover some health, after all MOST control decks often have a good amount of cards in hand. Maybe some hero power mage decks might slot it in, after all that deck is DESPIRATE for healing/life gain.
I think Spice Bread Baker is either going to see a lot of play and surprise a lot of people, or it's going to be mediocre and only see play in a few decks. Time will tell i guess.
Oh and in wild it's pretty useless. Antique Healbot is better in most cases, because it always heals 8 health.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Its definitely a card for control and value decks to consider, but there is a small caveat that makes it a little worse compared to cards like Armor Vendor, and that's its dependent on hand size and it costs 4 mana. Against most aggro tempo decks, even control decks don't tend to have large hand sizes, so we're looking at about healing for 5-7 at best. And since you're spending 4 mana doing this and not dealing with the board chances are good your opponent will simply shave that much health off you on their turn again anyway.
But its certainly an option worth considering, especially for any deck that needs tons of healing like The Demon Seed decks anyway.
This card is very strong. Obviously, you need to have a large hand for it to be worth it, but it's neutral and can be run in any deck that knows it can fill its hand consistently. Heck, just run Evocation!

Jup, this might as well have been a Warlock card. I would be surprised if it shows up anywhere else.
Arena > Wild > Standard
alright so this is...interesting.
There are a lot of control decks that currently tend to stack their hands a lot (and can generate more cards easily). Ironically enough, Warlock isn't one of them.
However, Mage might be given their wealth of card draw and ressource generation.
That being said, this is basically just a cheaper Healbot at best and I'm not entirely sure if a 4-mana healbot would even be playable these days.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I still think armor vendor is better, since it has better stats for its cost and the cost is only 1.
Still this is a really good option if additional healing is needed, the possibility of healing 9 is a lot.
This should be pretty good in any deck that tends to have large hand sizes. Warlock come to mind. Perhaps Shadow Priest.
Every control deck will love this card. I'm even confident enough to say this is 100% better than Antique Healbot
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Am I the only one who thinks the ultra realistic look of the pastery is kind of disturbing (given the overall comic style of hs)
Antique Healbot was never an amazing card, it just stood out as the only semi decent "last ditch" anti-aggro tools during its time in standard. The proof is that Antique Healbot is just not run in wild, because there are better cards, like Reno Jackson or Zilliax, i.e., cards that provide over-the-top healing or tempo and healing at the same time.
Spice Bread Baker is like Antique Healbot, except its body is frailer (so it can be even more easily killed) and it's dependant on having a big hand, which usually means you don't have the resources to combat early aggro boards anyway.
I'm not saying Spice Bread Baker will never see play, i'm saying she's not the anti-aggro tool the game needs right now, so she'll be just another "last ditch" anti-aggro card.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
This will be seen in Reno Priest for sure... I know I am going to put one in my Even Warlock as well
I think this is a decent card. It will have it's uses (does warlock run that increased hand size card anywhere?) in some controlly type decks. I like the neutral healing options.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I really like the control support, just feel that such a vendor should be tradeable.
Maybe, in warlock

Warlock loves bread.
This card will be played in every control deck, especially the new with the new Warlock questline. Rarely better than Antique Healbot, but with the lack of heal options, and this being Neutral, ups the rating significantly.
That's maybe a cool reason to run Valdris Felgorge ?
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Right now i only see this payoff in Warlock - maybe Priest but im not sure.
Ok Card i guess.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Will mainly see play in Control Warlock, since there are not many other control decks with large hands that want healing.
Can evenlock try it.
Good for Controlock
Rogue DH
Warlock will love this! Also being neutral it gives tons of healing for most classes.
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Interesting card for slower decks. Handlock is obvious but I think this will go into other control decks in wild too.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
Will be annoying to play against.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
Nice addition for Control Warlock. A bit too highly costed though to consider it to be really good.
maybe useful in shadow priests ?
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
As someone who likes to play control, especially in classes not meant for it, a neutral healing card like this is welcomed.
Even Handlock card.
But those stats... Oh god...
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Very poweful on handlock decks, with or without questline, but it can be a powerful tool for keep drawing with hero power
Amazing card, specially for the new Warlock questline, since Health will be an even more important resource for that deck
I like this take on neutral healing. It's not ubiquitously good, you actually have to work for it a little, which means that classes that really want the healing don't just get to slam it in for free.
