We need more Hero Power borders
While we're at it complaining about all the stuff Blizzard has messed up over the years, I'd like to add my own little piece to the pile: Hero Power borders.
It really is beyond me how they can offer new Hero skins on a regular basis without giving us a platinum / diamond / whatever Hero Power border for 1.000 wins.
Lots of players have invested incredible amounts of time to reach that mark and thus by all means earned their bragging rights. So why is it so hard to do the same effing thing as they do at 500 wins and give us a new Hero Power border on top of the in some cases horrible portrait? I am very proud of my 1.000 Hunter wins, but I'd very much prefer to play with Sylvanas than dumb face Rexxar.
So yeah, this is a minor issue for most players, but I'd really like to have a 1.000 wins Hero Power border.

As someone who is only a few wins away from 3000 with rogue, I could definitely appreciate a fancy hero power border to show that my lovely Cap'n Valeera portrait shows off a mere third of my experience with the class.
Since there is such a tiny calling for it from the community I wouldn't say this is something Blizzard have "messed up" on. Nevertheless, I do think it is an elegant and efficient way to add cosmetics for high numbers of wins without needing to bother commissioning 10 new pieces of art every 500 wins.
Dean "Iksar" Ayala sympathizes with us, but we won't get anything like that in the near future :(

Eh, but why only stop with hero portrait border? I think it's possible to add something else to the portrait. Like a small golden stars, or hearthstone icon, or expansion watermark. Golden font is available too. Different banner. Fancy health & attack number, etc.
My point is, we could always ask for our own custom 'badge' editor in the game.
