Well, this is the Big Spell turnaround we needed. This actually gives you a chance to deal with large lategame boards (also completely ruins Anacondra Druid, which is great because fuck that deck).
Not sure if this is enough to make Big Spell Mage work as a whole deck but it's a start and we have an entire year to figure it out.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I'd say this transform effect is better than a mass board clear like Twisting Nether, purely coz the polymorph gets rid of pesky deathrattles which will probably be popular this expansion. The 1/1s left over won't be much of a threat, so this is definitely the big spell we all wanted to see. Might be a bit crazy though when pulled from Iceblood Tower coz you'll probably end up transforming some of your own minions too.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Can we make a celebration that we're finally going to get this card in-game right now? Let's turn all our comments in this thread into "Baaaa!" only from now lol...
Anyways, it's super cool to see this card going in action now as many of us been waiting so long for it. Definitely a worthy card for a control/value mage.
Just WTF!!
That card is insane, wrecks any minion based archetype, specially any deathattle/big deck.
By The Holy Light!
Big thumbs up, Blizzard for the very obvious yet awesome card.
It's a board clear.... Oh wait I'm playing druid o.O !!!!

Yay, priest hate card :)
This is an absurdly strong defensive tool against any class other than druid (hello Arbor Up). It can completely nullify win conditions. Mages don't have a lot of minions they care about anyway.
An OK board clear mostly to be used against specific strategies (Big Paladin, Big Demon Hunter, Anacondra/Celestial Druid) that overwhelm the board with lots of large bodies. 7 mana is too expensive to be of use against aggressive decks, so I don't think this is an all-weather card that can be slotted in regardless of meta. It's certainly a fun card, though.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
INSANE. Remember Mass Polymorphs effect is why you generally pick the 10 cost option with Kazakus in wild. (Mainly against BIG priest or a deck with lots of deathrattles) and now you just get it for 7 mana? that AMAZING. Must-include in Big spell mage and maybe solid 1-off option for any other slower mage deck if the meta is slow enough.
Oh uh back to standard. Mass Polymorph gives BIG spell mage the ability to counter Deathrattle Priest, Deathrattle Rogue and honestly any BIG deck. Which are most archetypes that are getting support this expansion. Not only that, but it's a arcane spell so you can repeat it with Magister Dawngrasp. Insane defensive tool. Loving this set more and more.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Thanks, I hate it
Old Kazakus 10 cost spell. This was needed for Big Spell Mage to be viable, but might not do enough for 7 mana unless you have a great follow up
I'd like to like it. But honestly, its just an expensive way to clear up big minions. Reminds me alot of Plague of Murlocs: all the potential in the world, but then we discover that in fact even sheep can still do damage, so what you've done is essentially reduce damage rather than dealing with it.
Not to say that this isn't good, mind you. Mage will take any spell that unconditionally clears big boards, even if they have to take some damage in return. I just think for its price, it might just turn out to be too expensive to consider 2x copies of in a deck.
That's quite the answer against Big Minions decks.
And you know longer have to waste a Kazacus spell just to get rid of your rez priest opponent's game plan
*Laughs in Wild*
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
There are a lot of boards this won't do enough on (because 1/1's can still go face), but is a big Arcane spell for Magister Dawngrasp, and that matters, particularly considering the Honorable Kill effect of their hero power. Could be viable in that kind of deck.
Love the flavor, but does not really clean up the opposing board. Very annoying for the Deathrattle Priest opponent, but do you really want to slot in a card against 1 specific deck on ladder?
I was wondering why I'd want to transform all my stuff, but actually, I'm not sure Mage is going to running very many minions this expansion either.
This is great for control mage.
Beep, beep, we're all sheep. I said, beep, beep, we're all sheep! Beep, beep, we're all sheep. I said, beep beep, we're ALL SHEEP!!!
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
This is not solely priest hate. In fact it's a rather bad card in the priest matchup in general since it's too expensive to waste on a single minion, and is barely worth it to sheep 2 minions. Beyond that you're holding onto it for when they play amulet of the undying but if you're at the point where the priest is playing that, he's either lost, or you're being trolled.
I'm not sure this is the "anti priest" card think it really is. It's still a decent control tool, but as usual I think people are looking for the "super value situation" and are going to be sorely dissapointed.

It does seem like a dream to make everything fluffy 1/1s but this power comes with the cost of taking Arcane spell slot in Hero Card deck. It really fits mage flavour though.
Wow, very poweful for board control and messing with opponent revive pool.
If it gets casted by the Iceblood Tower is better
This is an interesting card. It isn't quite a board clear as it does leave behind all the 1/1's, but it does guarantee that everything is reduced in power. Flamestrike obviously gives the traditional clear that you will want, but Mass Polymorph doesn't have to worry about the health being out of range or having a pesky deathrattle left behind afterwards.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I love to see a card to deal with massive minions when there's more than one threat looming. Handbuff Paladin would hate this, for example. It's not like it's insane, because you need to hit a few targets for it to be worth it, but having the option is nice.
Welcome to the site!
Great flavor, I love the concept of this card. It can be a game turner just by itself.
